Abbott spent lots of look at me time for his tax by Medicare, and now he's appointed a girl to tell of his backflip, what a man Abbott is.
Not sure if I have the quote right but Donald Horne in "The Lucky Country", something like a lucky country being run by second-rate politicians.
Run by Politicians scared of Coal doing a add campaign during an election! Firstly by Rudd then Gillard then Abbott!
Abbott and the LNP love sending price signals to the punter, and now the punter is sending a price signal back, your not worth it!
Treasurer Joe Hockey says changes to Medicare and pensions are needed because a future generation could live to the age of 150. - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-...th--pension-changes.html#sthash.mxgEstI3.dpuf The LNP claims its Treasurer does not have roos in his top paddock, and its leader Abbott, is looking forward to his 150th Birthday party.
Wonder if Joe ever thought 120 years of work might pay for their pension? Still not that long before payments cease!
Prime Minister Tony Abbott has sounded a warning to his coalition colleagues that changing leaders is fatal. (He's gone boys he's gone). - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-...rs-not-the-solution.html#sthash.FdUvwF7u.dpuf
Hockey is a moron that I wouldn't hire to empty our office garbage, but for some unknown reason, the Australian people voted him in to be the countries treasurer, and not they wonder why this idiot is saying things like: people are "could" live to 150 years old without any scientific evidence of proof Unfortunately, time is catching up with the Australian people in that, you get what you vote for.
"Unfortunately, time is catching up with the Australian people in that, you get what you vote for." No Australian voted for what we got, we voted for what has turned out to be deceits.
Actually more people voted for the Libs then the ALP in the last 2 elections... for good reason. Unfortunately the 'swinging middle' is quite susceptible to popular propoganda - something at which the Union's and ALP are quite good at, and politics is complex enough to breed ignorant emotional propoganda which overrides the people actually trying to do the right thing.
"Actually more people voted for the Libs" Yes, they all taken in by the deceits of the LNP! "the people actually trying to do the right thing" are not the liars known as the LNP.
Abbott is not going to shirtfront Muslims, they free to kill Australians at will. The LNP love Abbott, all urine and wind!
Abbotts Ministers are going full out for a media photo even when its not their portfolio, Abbott is gone and his Minister are desperate not to be gone with him!
Sometimes the best idea is to change leader, maybe on the same day as the election is called. That is what happened what Bob Hawke became leader of the Labor party. He probably had one of the shortest terms as opposition leader. He won the election.
I'm not at all surprised Australia is a country full of naïve, child like people, who still believe & trust politicians. That's the reason why we keep getting clowns to manage our country, and the massive prosperity of this countries wealth has been wasted and squandered. Obviously the majority of Australia's naïve & child-like people must have had their heads stuck in the sand when Gillard lied about the Carbon Tax, and when Abbott told the people on an ABC interview: "not to believe anything he said unless it was written down on paper".
None. The reason why I have not cast my vote for any politician in the last five State & Federal elections. I get my name crossed off the electoral roll, and put my paper in the recycling bin on the way out. I refuse to accept or facilitate their lies, dishonesty, corruption and deception towards us the citizens. At least my conscience is clean and clear. It doesn't take a genius to understand these politicians are nothing more than a bunch of corrupt sewer rats, who are only interested in financially feathering their own nests at the tax payers expense.
This is exactly why we get idiots in politics, it is better for intelligent people to pick the best of the rats, otherwise our votes are useless and the biggest rat gets elected. Good work
I do see your point, but I also hope you can see mine. For the past decade, I don't see any difference between these rats. That's the reason for my preference. I cannot go against my own code of morals, ethics and principals. Otherwise, I would be just as dishonest as the rats I vote for.
I see your point also, but personally if I had no choice, I would rather be bitten by a Black Snake then a Brown one.
Why elect to get bitten at all, when you can walk away without getting bitten? Seems like an individual choice to me, and not a lifestyle choice.
I did say, if I had no choice. What I meant was if I didn't choose which one bit me and left it up to others to decide. I really did think you would understand what I meant
Just seeking clarification that you agree some individuals make a personal choice to get bitten, even if their lifestyle doesn't force them to get bitten.
If you vote for a person it can and often does wind up with another person you wont last, if you vote for nobody it winds up with the winner, such is how the Politicians have stacked Australian elections.
