Are Antifa members wearing Dem hats and flying Dem flags? Or is it made up that dems supported riots? I bet made up.

In my experience it isn't invoked by Trumpette's for the sake of civility, it's invoked for the sake of making a false equivalence because the actions of Repubs are otherwise indefensible.

Not really. Checks and balances refers to the three branches of government keeping each other's power in check. The thing that kept Trump from being convicted in the Senate was blind party loyalty to Dear Leader out of fear his impeachment would do damage to Repub's electoral prospects in upcoming elections.

The same can be said for Clinton, too, since the vote was pretty much along partisan lines.

No ….the Senate was not going to play Pelosi’s silly childish game to impeach a president void of any wrong doing…

No impeached president has been thrown out of office by the Senate. They've all been acquitted. That's a wrong term to use as they are all impeached. They just weren't removed from office.
Unless anyone thinks Clinton was NOT guilty of a BJ and lying about said BJ. And there's no one that believes that.

It seems as if our conservative brethren do not seem yet to grasp the intent of this thread, and instead are relying on their Pavlovian reflexes to provide a response. So let me ask another way...

When will Republicans join in the rest of society to help solve the issues that plague us today?

Maybe when liberals stop lying about COVID, fire Fauci, hold him accountable for funding the creation of it, and stop picking and choosing what science to believe. If you're referring to COVID.

In Revelation, the end of the age globalist evil empire is symbolically called "Babylon" [the word means MIXED confusion.]

    http://kingjamesbibledictionary.com/StrongsNo/H894/Babylon

Its namesake was the ancient Babylonian empire who conquered many nations, bringing diverse people into Babylon making it a MIXED multi-racial, multi-religious, multi-cultural abomination.

In Daniel 2 the king of ancient Babylon dreamed about an image of a man which symbolizes the succession of empires that would rule God's people... beginning with ancient Babylon, the "head of gold"... and ending with "feet of clay", the last empire that is a weakened MIXTURE of iron MIXED with miry clay = "Babylon" in Revelation. In both Daniel 2 and Revelation, the last MIXED globalist evil empire [Babylon] is destroyed and replaced with the Kingdom of God.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reaches unto heaven, and is raised to the skies

    Jeremiah 51:9

Of course I agree with this post. I know this is tangential at best. derailing at worst. but recent politics makes me ask this.
Lets be frank, in the last 20 years, neither party has been doing much to preserve the moderate center in politics. Every new congressional session seems to produce fewer and fewer of these as primaries drive the parties towards rewarding the base with victories.

Does the 2020 election suggest to you that the Democrats are beginning to trend towards nominating and electing more centrist candidates like Biden over base candidates like Sanders or Warren?

Odd that you too missed all of the active and vociferous support of the rioters, arsonists, et al by all of the Democrat politicians starting with Pelosi and Schumer and winding through numerous mayors and governors. Hell, Pelosi even accused Trump of sending in "storm troopers" to fend off the arsonists trying to burn down the federal court house with people inside. Harris helped set up a bail them out organization and funding

lols! Given that so much of this is in the Middle East what is the assurance they were not kicking out the “white” people?
    https://converge.org/article/5-biblical-ways-to-take-action-against-injustice-racism

I personally have very little time for prejudice that puts one people above another. I believe that if the only thing you have in your life that gives you self esteem is that you were born to a certain group then you are failing at life. It is self assurance that allows you to embrace all as brothers and sisters and once you do that you open a world of wonderful enrichment

You know what? The reality is probably more like the reverse.

Progressives are actually probably a minority relative to conservatives, but are able to have an effective majority in terms of votes through high levels of immigration into big city areas, and playing up minorities through messages in the news media.

I actually believe that if big city areas had separate rules from all the other outlying areas, everyone would be happier. But human nature is to try to impose what they want onto everyone else. People are just stupid and don't understand that. They will pass laws for entire states that are really more appropriate for just certain big city areas.

In ancient times, most people in the Middle East were White [Caucasian.]

The Arameans, Israelites, Medes and Persians were "Arya" [Aryans]

I am of the belief that by and large Democrats choose the better candidate based on the circumstances of a particular election. It is generally the Republicans who freak out over so-called extreme left candidates, all the while ignoring their own. It is this spook factor that I always have to account for, and in this last election, for myself, I felt Biden was the safer and more guaranteed bet to win. I mean really when have Democrats ever voted for an extreme left-wing candidate? Obama wasn't, neither was Clinton. You have to go back to Jimmy Carter, and only then he was considered extreme because of his energy policies, which of course now we see how prescient he was.

See, it is this extreme tunnel vision that is the problem. Poll after poll shows otherwise.

Well, it depends exactly what we mean, and exactly what type of issues you're talking about.

I would contend that a large number of these people taking part in these polls don't really know what they believe and their opinions could easily be shaped by whatever type of things they read in the news media. Basically stupid impressionable low-information voters.

All I am saying is that true core progressives (however you want to define that) are probably in a minority, maybe no more than 20 or 30 percent of the population.
If they were not so insecure, there would not be this big push to fill the country up with more immigration.

There has been of course a big push in many areas to turn average members of the population into progressive grassroots activists.

When it comes to the issues themselves, most folks generally agree, that is until you start factoring in the political angles and the pundits that push them. Case in point, the pull out of Afghanistan.

    Only because of the media.

If it wasn't for the media, probably most people would have no context to even be able to put together an opinion on it.

Anyway, that still hasn't overall played out so well for the Biden Administration. People do have an inkling that defeat is not a good thing.

The sheer hypocrisy of the OP's post is exceeded only by the willful denial required to pretend to not see it!
