Can you be liberal and Christian at the same time?

I want to echo that. I understand I point out the flaws of Democrats all the time. But I am not wanting to come off as mean. I used to be a Democrat and know there is the chance my comments can convert one or more to the republican side. Why don't I promote libertarians. I happen to truly like them the most of all. I do not want to change republicans to libertarians since we think so much alike. I want Democrats converted. They have the false philosophy.

 

I know many conservatives who are also Christians. I also know many liberals who are Christians. However I think it is impossible to be a Trump supporter and a Christian. Trump is the antithesis of Christian principles and beliefs. Those so called "Evangelicals" who proudly support this scheming whore chasing crook are not Christians.

1) Where does Jesus say that one must believe in Theocracy - in order to be a Christian ? Answer - Nowhere
2) How does believing that the Gov't should not be a Theocracy - make one unfit to be a Christian ?

We disagree on that which is o.k. I was raised as a child in a very Christian environment during what I will call my 'formative years'. The fact that, as a young adult, I chose not to label myself a Christian doesn't mean I changed my behavior. If it affected me in any way I would have to say it made me more liberal.

 

So do you love God and your neighbor as yourself, because that is the "behavior" that matters, not how "nice" you think you are.

 

Do I love god? No, can't love something that doesn't exist. Do I love my neighbor? A hell of a lot more than most christians that I know.
