According to that logic, Zeus is real, bloodletting cures diseases, the world is flat and man will never go to the moon.

You know you have a lot of skills that are more in line with someone working at a Troll factory than someone posting casually on the net.

You claim he lied so the onus is on you to prove the allegation.

The fact that his doctors would have advised him to continue playing golf is just an observation of standard medical advice. Ask your own GP to confirm it. My sister, a GP, already did.

The burden of proof is always on the person who brings a claim in a dispute. It is often associated with the Latin maxim semper necessitas probandi incumbit ei qui agit, a translation of which in this context is: "the necessity of proof always lies with the person who lays charges."

The party that does not carry the burden of proof carries the benefit of assumption of being correct, they are presumed to be correct, until the burden shifts after presentation of evidence by the party bringing the action. An example is in an American criminal case, where there is a presumption of innocence by the defendant. Fulfilling the burden of proof effectively captures the benefit of assumption, passing the burden of proof off to another party.

    Another Lefty:
Here’s what Time said [emphasis mine]

In his address to the convention in Kansas City, Trump defended his decision to slap tariffs on the U.S.’s trading partners. As Trump told the crowd that “it’s all working out,” he warned those in the audience against believing what they see in the news.

“What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening,” Trump said.

For some, the quote immediately recalled a line from Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984: “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”

Trump didn’t refer to ‘evidence’, and evidence is not what Fake Media provide. Trump isn’t saying, “Reject the evidence,” he’s saying, “Don’t believe Fake News.

The book is called “Nineteen Eighty-Four” and there was a time when Time would have got that right. The characters in the story knew they were being fed misinformation. The government would reverse everything. Today’s Fake News is similar to that dystopian world, because they twist the truth around to support their socialist agenda. If a person in that world stood up and tried to tell a crowd that they were all slaves, he would be arrested, tortured and made to say on television that HE was actually the one who wanted to enslave people, and so on. In this case Trump is telling people not to believe what Fake News say about him, and he is quite right to do so. Fake News lie about him every day many times, and twist everything he says around. Naturally, they even tried to twist his words around in this instance, trying to make it sound as though he was like the dystopian government in Nineteen Eighty-Four, telling people to “reject the evidence.”

The Washington Post also carried this story, as did most of Fake News. What kind of reporters are we talking about?

Joan Greve is an English teacher who taught in France for a year. Isn’t that sweet? Our three millennial knuckleheads, who think they understand politics and Trump. Bzzzt. Misquote. He did not use those words. He had read a newspaper report about Rafael Cruz being with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Kennedy being shot, and that’s what he described. You can see the tape here and listen for yourself.

Here’s the PolitiFake link you couldn’t find.

This article was written by Louis Jacobson. PolitiFake like to waffle about a particular Trump statement before summing up their decision under the heading “Our ruling”. Here is what they said in “Our ruling” on the above page:

Trump said, "When I was campaigning, I was talking about 18 and 20 years (when) wages effectively went down. Now, for the first time in a long time, they're starting to go up for people."

Wage growth during the two-decade period Trump is referencing was modest, even sluggish, but wages didn’t go down over that period, even accounting for inflation. As for wages finally going up now, they rose for almost three years before Trump took office, so it’s not credible for him to imply that he deserves credit.

    We rate the statement False.

So let’s see how they faked this up. Trump held a cabinet meeting at the White House, March 8, 2018. The YouTube is here. View the video from 00:00:42 - 00:03:00 for the following transcript. Red shows the part PolitiFake used. Bold red shows the words they ignored. Bold black shows the important parts they left out:

I'm pleased to report that our very massive tax cuts are continuing to show tremendous results. Ninety percent of American workers are already seeing bigger paychecks, and that number's actually going to go up. Almost 4.6 million people have received tax-cut bonuses. Wages are rising at the fastest pace in more than a decade, something that people have been waiting for, as you know, when I was campaigning, I was talking about 18 and 20 years, and wages effectively went down. Now, for the first time in a long time, they're starting to go up for people. We've created almost 3 million new jobs since the election. And unemployment claims are at the lowest level in 49 years. Think of that. Unemployment at the lowest level in 49 years. That's a beautiful statistic… And I'm very pleased to announce that the unemployment rate for women in our workforce is at an 18-year low, lowest it's been in 18 years. And we're very close to the all-time record...

As you can see, they didn’t talk about “fastest pace” or “effectively” or “they’re starting”. They cut the words, “Wages are rising at the fastest pace in more than a decade, something that people have been waiting for, as you know…” from the sentence, used a capital ‘W’ to make a new sentence, and replaced ‘and’ with ‘when’. They didn’t mention any of the other points made in that paragraph, thus taking the bit they used out of context. Here’s how the reporter, Louis Jacobson, mischievously edited the piece:

Conclusion: Mischievous reporting, misinformation. Fake News.

    No lie.

So who is this Louis Jacobson, the guy that works for PolitiFake, cooking up Fake News all day?

He’s a freelance arts reviewer for washingtoncitypaper dot com, though they don’t list him as staff. He is a “fact checker” for Politifake. He likes his art, his food, and his Obama cardboard cut-out. But most of all he hates Trump. Yippee!

Score for the Left so far:

    ZERO.

On July 3, 2018, young reporter Chris Nichols gave President Trump the “Pants-on-Fire” award at PolitiFake, here. The problem is the tweet he was whining about came from the White House, not from Trump. Leaving that aside, and assuming it was Trump, poor Chris got it all wrong anyway, as you would expect from PolitiFake.

The tweet in question said the following:

@SenKamalaHarris, why are you supporting the animals of MS-13? You must not know what ICE really does. Here is a link to help you out:

The link was to this page.

Chris Nichols then wrote about how Kamala Harris had NOT supported MS-13. He said of MS-13, “The gang grew out of poor Los Angeles neighborhoods where many refugees from civil wars in El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua lived in the 1980s.”

My, you would think he might mention their motto, which is, “kill, rape and control,” or that they are a transnational criminal organization dubbed “the most dangerous gang in the world”, but no, he simply said they were a ‘violent gang’. Gee, I’ll bet MS-13 like Chris for that.

Of course there is no way the White House is going to say that Democratic senator Kamala Harris supports MS-13 without good reason. So what is the good reason? Simple. She supports the removal of ICE. Removing ICE is something that MS-13 would celebrate and rejoice over. If that’s not supporting MS-13, what the hell is?

Here's Californian Senator Kamala Harris in a CNN article entitled "These Democrats want to abolish ICE."

"I think there's no question that we've got to critically re-examine ICE and its role and the way that it is being administered and the work it is doing," she told MSNBC. "And we need to probably think about starting from scratch."

So once again, no lie. A political opinion is not a lie. It is an opinion.

And who is Chris Nichols? As with all the other pics I have posted, you can easily google the names to check for yourself. Here he is:

Chris is a young Californian from San Diego. Who would have guessed? :D :D :D

Fake News just makes up stuff out of thin air. Check out this piece of mischievous reporting from the Houston Chronicle, in an article by Andrea Zelinski and St. John Barned-Smith, on June 6, 2018.

Trump gave a Hurricane Briefing on that day, at FEMA HQ, Washington D.C. and the entire transcript is here. Trump spoke about 2,500 words. I'll paste 124 here (about 5%) [emphasis mine]:

I said, I think this year the Coast Guard, maybe in terms of increased branding — the brand of the Coast Guard has been something incredible what’s happened. Saved 16,000 people, many of them in Texas, for whatever reason that is. People went out in their boats to watch the hurricane. That didn’t work out too well. That didn’t work out too well.

So I just want to thank all of the people in the Coast Guard and all of our services for having been incredible. The National Weather Service; the American Red Cross — been amazing;, state and local governments; our brave first responders; law enforcement — always law enforcement; and so many others who came together to save lives, restore hope, and rebuild our communities.

Check out the Houston Chronicle’s huge headline: “Trump: Many Texans watched Harvey from their boats, requiring Coast Guard rescue”

Trump didn’t say “Many Texans watched…” He said, “People went out in their boats to watch the hurricane.” Where’d the “Many” come from?

They go on to misquote Trump:

Trump … credited the high number of water rescues to people taking their boats out to watch the storm roll in, baffling first responders.
No, Trump didn’t credit “the high number of water rescues to people taking their boats out…” Trump said nothing of the sort. He said many people watched Harvey from their boats. “Many” could be a hundred. He didn’t say they were the ones that were rescued. Andrea Zelinski and St. John Barned-Smith just made that up. Then they misquoted Trump again:

"Sixteen thousand people, many of them in Texas, for whatever reason that is. People went out in their boats to watch the hurricane,” Trump said. “That didn't work out too well.”
Notice they chopped out the word ‘Saved’? It was supposed to read:

Saved 16,000 people, many of them in Texas, for whatever reason that is. People went out in their boats to watch the hurricane. That didn’t work out too well. That didn’t work out too well.”
They wanted to make it look more like he meant that 16,000 people went out in boats, so they deleted the word ‘Saved’. How childish. If you work it backwards you can imagine a note in the editing department, explaining the trickery:

This Fake News article was then used by PolitiFake to give Trump a Pants-on-Fire award, incorrectly. Why doesn't that surprise me? :D

So who are Andrea Zelinski and St. John Barned-Smith? Check them out on Google to see:

John Barned-Smith was in the Peace Corps before reporting in Philadelphia and suburban Maryland. He's the one skinning the rooster. Then he joined the Houston Chronicle. Wow! Andrea Zelinski has a master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinoi! My! She wrote for the Nashville Post, the now defunct Nashville City Paper and covered the Illinois statehouse. Where would Fake News be without these wise Trump experts? :D

"Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal." Donald Trump.
    — PolitiFact National on Thursday, October 12th, 2017
    — False
    Link

This PolitiFake article was written by John Kruzel on Oct 12, 2017. He was whining about Trump’s Oct 9, 2017 tweet three days before, which read:

Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal, & that's about it. We need HealthCare, we need Tax Cuts/Reform, we need people that can get the job done!

PolitiFake like to waffle about a particular Trump tweet or statement before summing up their decision under the heading “Our ruling”. Here is what they said in “Our ruling” on the above page:

Trump said, "Bob Corker gave us the Iran Deal."

Corker sponsored legislation to enhance Congress’ authority to review the Iran nuclear deal before allowing the president to lift congressionally-imposed sanctions. He also vocally opposed the deal, urged lawmakers to reject the agreement and voted against it.

We don’t see how this could reasonably be construed as Corker giving the United States the Iran deal. Trump’s claim doesn’t make logical sense.

    We rate this False.

CNN’s reporter Jeremy Diamond also accused Trump of lying when he tweeted that it was not true, and that it was a false claim.

As Breitbart News pointed out in this article, in fact it is CNN (and PolitiFake) that are lying. They explain why:

As Breitbart News noted in April 2015: “[T]he text of the bill now before Congress would actually make an Iran deal easier to approve — and would do so by gutting the Senate’s constitutional power over treaties.” Only one Senator, Tom Cotton (R-AR), opposed the Corker bill and its the deceptive mathematics. And its futility was proven when Democrats in the Senate filibustered to prevent the Iran deal from even coming up for a vote on the floor.

Thus did Corker make it easier for Obama to force through the Iran deal. One could argue that Corker subjectively wanted to stop the deal. But Trump’s tweet is not “false,” as alleged by CNN’s Diamond in a dishonest “Facts First” segment that misquoted Trump and failed to mention the Constitution.

Worse, Diamond actually said on the air: “This bill was the bill that gave Congress the ability to actually weigh in on the Iran deal, which otherwise the Obama administration would have gone unilaterally and passed this motion by itself.” It was the Constitution that gave Congress that power, and the Iran deal was indeed unilateral — it was never “passed” by anyone.

Had Corker done his job, he would be on steadier ground in his fight with Trump. And the world would have been safer today.

So yes, Trump was correct and both PolitiFake’s John Kruzel and CNN’s Jeremy Diamond were wrong.

No lie. Just more Fake News.

So who are John Kruzel and Jeremy Diamond?

John Kruzel studied to be a lawyer, started out as a lawyer but decided instead to work at Left winged ABC News. Now he’s at PolitiFake (politifact.com) as a “fact checker” (chortle). He likes a beer. He loves his tattooed wife. He loves letting his hair down. He hates Trump like all left winged millennials, and that qualifies him well as far as PolitiFake is concerned. Kruzel may be a klutz, but he’s a cool klutz with hipster glasses. :D

Jeremy Diamond is Episcopalian. He speaks fluent French and a little Spanish. He went to a Washington government university and got a bachelor’s degree, worked in some New York radio stations and interned at CNN. He likes a beer. He likes his hipster beard. And he likes to be a Trump hating millennial. So what else is new? :D

Wrong. Lockheed did take the deal. There were some disagreements as to how it would work, but Lockheed did not file suit, thereby accepting the unilateral contract issued by the Pentagon in 2016, which had nothing to do with Trump.

All of which was part of the unilateral contract, and comes from the articles dated before Trump took office. Lockheed could have sued if it wanted to contest the contract, but it didn't. That means Lockheed accepted the unilateral contract before Trump took office.

The cost cuts couldn't come all at once because the F-35 was still in development stage. As per the contract, the cuts come incrementally and in 2016, the date of the article and before Trump was president, the program was "on track" to reach the target price (as agreed on by the unilateral contract that Lockheed accepted in 2016--before Trump took office).

The only thing that was not hashed out in the agreement was where the savings would come from because at the developmental stage of aircraft production, there are a lot of changes from the original designs. Development is far more expensive than final production. That's just a fact of new aircraft production, and those kinds of changes--what to leave in and what to take out--are things that engineers do, not politicians. So, what exactly was there left for Trump to do?

Please specify what "deal" you claim Trump got done. A deal is an agreement between parties, and that agreement was already a done deal. What else was there for Trump to get done?

You refuse to accept that the big issue of cutting costs was already agreed upon in 2016, prior to Trump taking office. You ignore the fact that the only thing left was how to achieve those savings--an area that requires aeronautical engineering experience, an area in which Trump has zero experience. Don't tell me he got the deal done when you can't even explain what the deal was. I will gladly admit the error of my ways if you can do that. Until then, Trump lied.
