He had omarossa, steve bannon, jeff sessions, michael wolff, michael cohen, sarah sanders, sean spicer, scott pruitt... I mean it's not just a bad apple here and there. In fact Any ceo, head coach, general... or really even an organizer of a small fundraiser would be fired pretty quickly for such gross incompetence in their staffing. And, let's suppose it is just a few bad apples, how did those 'few' apples have such sway over him as to force him to tell such a stupid stupid lie in such a stupid stupid way...stupidly?

 

As a businessman, Trump has hired and fired thousands of people. Many politicians behave differently. They leave the person in the job regardless of performance. Trump fires them if they fail his high expectations. Instead of praising him for doing such filtering, you criticize him for it! He’s at the focal point of world power now, a place where many powerful and charismatic people want to be. They’ll use all their ability to con their way there, making all kinds of promises and bending over backwards to impress. As good a judge as Trump may be, once again, he’s not Superman. Every POTUS picks staff they sometimes regret hiring, but most won’t sack that person for fear of looking bad. Trump will sack them - even the nice ones. If they don’t live up to their promise, they’re out.

 

No, I'm not criticizing him for firing dirtbags, I'm criticizing him for hand picking them in the first place. His expectations seem to be near zero (see kellyanne conway), and yet the people he picks still fail to meet those expectations. And in the case of sessions, the only expectations he has failed to meet is that he isn't corrupt enough. This is not just undue attention on business as usual, there is no obama version of cohen, or clinton version of omarossa, and these people didn't sneak in, any idiot could have seen who and what they were, except that one idiot didn't or at least didn't care. And of course there is no version of this story which justifies trump lying about helsinki.

 

Yes today when he claimed Puerto Rican hurricane relief efforts where 2975 AMERICANS DIED and some are still without power, was one of the great successes of his administration.He lives in an alternate universe!!!
