    I voted sending US special forces to rescue hostages, and that is all. our mission should be to save innocent lives only, not contributing to what is about to become a genocide if things continue the way they are about to.

    Several reportedly were dual citizens and "just visiting" is subjective. I have no idea how long they were planning to stay even if they were living and working in the region.

    If they're living and working then they're not really USA citizens. The "USA citizens" tag is used as false pretext. They're basically not loyal to USA and this is seen as betraying their commandments, according to the orthodox Jewish community.

    This duel citizenship is a powderkeg and being exploited for personal financial gain, often illegally. Thousands upon thousands of Jewish folk across the EU have illegally gained duel citizenship, often through the channels of corrupt rabbis working the underground markets

    Hard to tell but a couple interviewed on our local news were Christians who wanted to visit "the Holy Land" when they got caught in the attack. They just arrived back at the Greater Cincinnati airport after a circuitous route through Turkey IIRC
