I have a feeling if the U.S. were taking in migrants from countries with high standards of living, the life expectancy wouldn't be on a downward trend.
No surprise the U.S. will become more and more like the places where all these people are coming from.

Yes, if we're only talking about these countries (that only contain 20% of the earth's population, by the way) then yes, you are right.

I've pointed out in other threads that if you added together all the statistics of a high standard of living Third World country and a First World country, and took their average, it would come out looking pretty similar to the statistics of the U.S.

 

What the heck are you talking about? Medicare is fast and effective. It saved my wife from cancer last year... a long, hard battle. I use it regularly as a diabetic with triple bypass in my history. Medicare is just fine. Couldn't be better! (Socialized medicine sucks. When I was stationed in Germany, our Officer's Club was run by a big, fat (wonderful) old lady. Red as a beet from high blood pressure. Socialized medicine sent her to a spa. She should have had blood pressure medication but socialized medicine couldn't afford that... so they sent her to a spa for a few days.

France (best life quality in the world) has about 5 % of black people that is similar to US.(if you include Arabs) the diversity is even higher.

My point was that France is not the all wonderful place you seem to imagine it to be.
And things are only getting worse there.

Last story I read, French women are no longer going bare breasted at the beach because there are too many creepy-looking men who ogle them. In the 1990s, 90% of French women took off their top at the beach. Today it's down to only 10 or 15%.
