Why would it matter? Unless the couple is kissing and fondling each other in the bakery the baker has no way of knowing whether they are gay or not unless they tell him its for a gay wedding. It is with in his religious rights to not provide services for a gay wedding or a satanic wedding for that matter,

So then establishments should be able to openly discriminate against anyone who goes to church then, correct? Or if they wear a religious symbol?

Strange how none of you cared about animosity when evangelicals were trying to stop gay people from getting married. Or prior to that when they were trying to ban civil unions. Or marriage like contracts. Or when they were closing their bars. Or having them arrested for holding hands in public. Or stringing them up to fence posts.

As soon as you get rid of the constitutions establishing religious freedom as a tenet. And the left is has been trying to kick religious folk out of the town square since the fifties and the courts keep telling them that doing so is unconstitutional. Hell there was even a conscientious objector opt out for the Military during the draft.

I didn’t ask what the current law is — I asked what should be allowed to happen

 

Christian and hypocrite go hand in hand. I was raised catholic and saw, even as young as 4th grade, how hypocritical catholics were. The hypocrisy, plus the obvious fact that there was no invisible man in the sky, is why I stopped putting any faith in religion or god.

You gave an apples and oranges comparison. Telling some one that you don't want to participate in their party is not the same as telling them we are going to prohibit you from life.
