He specifically said that he had absolute authority to compel the Governors to open their economies.

 

Why would you demand he do something you claim he cant?

Did you not recently demand he shut down the country? Were you not screaming for him to do it and not wait for the Governors to do it?

 

Nothing, except a theoretical desire to protect the lives of the American people that I still hope exists within Trump even if he repeatedly displays a willingness to intentionally place Americans in harm's way solely to benefit himself, stops him from issuing the guidance and/or recommending that Governors close/open their economies.

The US Constitution stops him having the absolute authority that he claims.

Why is Trump incapable of seeing the same truth as you when it comes to your conspiracy theory that covid-19, the virus responsible for killing more than 35,000 Americans in three weeks, is just an overblown hoax designed to hurt Trump?
