CNN had a field day with its chyrons during Trump's 'meltdown' at his coronavirus briefing

I suspect that any "advice" Democrat "leaders" provided over the course of that time frame would not suddenly excuse Trump from FAILING TO DO HIS JOB.

 

Correct. And do you know one of the main reasons why it took until March 13th to close down essential businesses - just in your county alone?

Because Trump spent six ****ing weeks telling the entire country that there was nothing to worry about because he had shut it down.

As for these "reporters" in the daily briefings, I think Trump should lock them out and cut the briefings down to 10 minutes. Anything more becomes fodder for the usual suspects to twist and distort the following day.

Instead he said we have this virus totally under control and said that an outbreak was not inevitable and said that anyone who wants a test can get a test and said that we would very soon be going from a dozen cases down to zero and said that he shut it down and said that the virus would disappear one day like a miracle and said you're a terrible reporter in response to a question about his message to the millions of scared Americans.

The 'experts' you said he should listen to were saying the same thing. Checkmate. Thank goodness he didn't listen to the 'experts' when he restricted China travel, over the objections of Democrats.

 

You can't hold Trump to statements made early in this rapidly changing situation while not holding 'experts' he was relying to to their early wrong statements. Dr. Fauci said in late February the virus threat was miniscule and only theoretical, and btw, absolutely no reason for Americans to wear masks.
