(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) Communism stands as the polar opposite enemy of everything America stands for.

Up until 1991 we understood that. Apparently now people think Communism is okay just because lighter forms of it have been discovered by Western Euros.

Communists are national enemies of the USA.

Who is funding the communist mobs? The international bankers have a history of it. More socialism in government would only mean one thing: an ever increasing amount of debt and thus an ever increasing, infinite dependence of Greece on IMF money.

Communism did help republic democratic societies win World War 2, but only to help communist's back. Communism is a catch 22. Fascism is the opposite of communism thinking, but they both want to oppress people. The Nazis had to be stopped no matter what. They were in to stuff that could have changed the world forever.

Without the freedom to be secure in property, which marxism clearly declares off limits.. there can be no other freedom.

It all starts with the right to own and be secure in your property, that includes fruits of ones labor, and ownership of land as a means of investment.

    LOL.

But if the capitalism don't secure the fruits of ones labour. Capitalism secures that some people will own the land and the fruits of others labour. Socialism secures fruits of your own labour.

I don't know what Socialism you are talking about but the kind I was taught about says I take the fruits of my labor and dump 100% of it into a common basket and then some central planning bureaucrat passes out what he feels my fair share is. That's not keeping (*)(*)(*)(*).

Because you only know the one based on marxism, but there are other socialism. The libertarian socialism that is completely different, that is based in the theories of Bakunin and others.

In this socialism there isn't any bureaucrat, and it is stateless.

Then go live with the African Bushmen or the Mek in Papua New Guinea because that is about the highest level of technological achievement such a society as you envision could even exist with.

No influential first world tribe of peoples could function that way.

Taking what? Their cradle-to-grave safety net and early retirement?

I find it amazing that the west's standard of living could be so high, yet people are whining more than ever. It seems humans are a self-destructive species by design.

Probably be a good thing if the communists take over the country; God knows the capitalists have really fouled things up there. Maybe the communists will do a better job then their predecessors.

Spain and Greece seem to want mob rule, so reminscent of the immediate aftermath of the French Revolution. Very soon these 'socialists' will demand the return of the gullotine, but only for those who oppose their way of life, of course!

The Chinese have risen from a very low base ,with most of their population in the last century living near or below the poverty line. It has still a long way to go to reach the GDP of the USA.When China reaches that level, we will see if it can continue to keep its citizens in 'chains' or whether their hidden thirst for freedom will explode in a thousand different directions.

You assume that people wish to be "free" by nature.

    LOL.

Showing how you don't know anything about my ideology.
Irrational and amoral? There is no hope for democracy? LOL

Democracy is the power in the people. And it is what we are doing. And it is goinc incredibly well. With very good organization...

No, we want democracy. Not a system where the people don't have voice and it is governed for the corporations and the markets, well they are who truely rule.

We want change the system, to a democracy where all voices are listened, no more, where all people can participate and decide. It is for what we are fighting.

Well, people want to be free, but mainly they want to be able to eat, and have the basic things, in other words, to live.

Like most Resistance groups after the war, the Greek Resistance leaned towards communism, and in free elections would have won. It was therefore destroyed by the western powers, with Stalin's okay.

    Quite the opposite is happening.

Greece is selling off its airports and highways. It looks more like extreme privatization is headed their way.

He is talking about the protests that are gaining force. And there is a protest everyday.

The organization of the people is getting greater, against the neoliberal government that is strangling the citiziens.

But what the op didn't know that this organization is done with people of all ideologies, from anarchists to people of rights.

The protests seem to have more to do with difficulty in finding work and threats of cutting pensions.

I'm not sure how the people feel about selling off infrastructure.
