    Cruz challenger Beto O'Rourke dinged for saying 'nothing more American' than kneeling during anthem.

    This is exactly what is wrong with America today. This clown wants to wrap the American flag around the kneelers. No words can define my thoughts to those serving in our Armed Forces and our First Responders and all of those that have given their lives for this country and/or for the people of their community! Those kneeling during the anthem have sacrificed so very much! WHAT!!??

    You would hope he just put a nail in his coffin saying that in America. But half the world has gone crazy, so who knows, he might actually have gained supporters. Sad.

    This guy runs on never accepting money from a PAC, Cruz busted him for lying.

    Pretty embarrassing for Rourke.

    I think Cruz is safe.

    Rourke is yours standard democrat pushing open borders and loving illegals, he won't fare well in Texas outside of his district.

    It looks like he is only trailing by 4 points.

    Your policy is **** when someone that is openly advocating for open borders is only 4 points away from the incumbent... When are we going to get politicians that actually care about America that are not corrupt *******s? That’s an impossible dream

    Probably not.

    There are simply too many republicans in that state.

    But I don't know for certain so its possible.

    When I looked up Rourke though, there was nothing special about him.

    And now this lying thing he got caught in.

    Unless Texas is really upset with Cruz about something I wouldn't put my money on Rourke.

    What an eloquent answer and it's about time some reminded the people outraged over kneeling NFL players that soldiers aren't the only ones who fought and died for our rights or for that flag.

    NBC/Marist poll? So that means Cruz is up by about 12. Liberal polling hasn't changed its broken methodology since Trump won, there is no reason to believe anything those hucksters say...

    But I repeat...when you have to explain this to folks, we have a real problem of the dumbing-down that has taken hold within particular swaths of people. No reflection on his eloquence but this guy might as well have been speaking for the benefit of 2nd graders. Who with any functioning brain cells does not understand what taking a knee is all about and how it relates to the anthem or flag...:wall:

    No they weren't, or Hillary would have won. The methodology is and was broken, nothing has changed. I don't mind, liberals are dumb enough to buy into broken polls, it just means they'll cry more when they lose, but they still won't try to fix it and lose in 2020 as well, its all good!

    Maybe I will reconsider my earlier answer about O'Rourke losing by 6..... might be much closer...
