    I'm not. Simply stating I'm sick of liberals running up our debt and giving free handouts. As a conservative I am against it, because I think everyone has the right and the strength to make it on their own. Im not saying we dont need a little welfare because people come on hard times. Im not saying we shouldnt help elderly pay medical bills. BUT ITS WAY TOO MUCH. TWO years?! REALLY?!

    Oh believe me, both have done their fair share. Republicans like war, democrats like handouts. You can't really argue with that. Well Ron Paul wants to end both! So for now, he has my support.

    Bush went against his own party and started the borrowing based on the advice he received from his Republican advisers. Think of a single scenario where massive government debt would be necessary. Think hard........

    HINT: Ben Bernanke heavily studied the events that lead up to the Great Depression.

    FDR was in fact president longer than any other president. He also was a racist. (See below, personal racial attitudes were conventional for his time and class). He was elected president 4 times, all the while he had overwhelming majorities of democrats in the house and senate, yet never once passed a single Civil Rights initiative. He was begged by Civil Rights leaders to desegregate the armed forces, but never did. He patronized Southern Democrat racists within the party and their demands to continue segregation.

    And what were the conventional racial attitudes of his time?

    And so the Lynching in the South by the KKK continued throughout the 30's.

    So, the story goes, these Black sailors were being pushed to the limit to load the ships as fast as they could. It was said that the White Officers in charge had bets as to who's Negro crews could load the ships the fastest. So hundreds of Black sailors died, and a month later 50 more were court martialed for mutiny. They have never been exonerated even under Bill Clinton or Barack Obama.
