Democrats OWN the LOCKDOWNS

I've noticed in the last week or so Democrats trotting out a new talking point: Pretending that lockdowns don't exist.

Probably Democrats are looking at the polls which show people increasingly angry at lockdowns and the liberal politicians who imposed them on society.

Obviously, this laughable talking point will convince the partisan dummies who vote Democrat no matter what. And it will probably manage to gaslight a few weak people on the margins. But there is no way that large numbers of people are going to believe this stupid, dishonest talking point.

Most everyone has been living under a lockdown for months, imposed largely by Democrat governors and mayors acting like tyrants. Millions of Americans have had their businesses destroyed or jobs lost or happiness stolen away from them by power-mad Democrats. And they KNOW who is responsible: DEMOCRATS.

Democrats OWN the lockdowns. Lockdowns and the insidious "new normal" are a DEMOCRAT policy regime. And no amount of gaslighting by Democrat partisans and mouthpieces is going to convince anyone that they weren't locked down for the past nine months by DEMOCRATS.

 

What lockdown? Which states are completely locked down? I live in a blue state and it isn’t locked down. Hell, I was just out shopping and also grabbed a growler of beer from local brewery.

Unfortunately I worry you're right. I mean, what "lockdown" is Ethereal talking about? I live in NY, we're not on lockdown. Sure some hours have been cut, but they've actually expanded since lockdown earlier this year.

 

We will be the resistance. We won’t be locked down. Period.

 

No idea. Malls, restaurants, breweries, etc are all open in my state. I work from home so I make it a point to get out every day whether it’s to grab a coffee, run errands, grab lunch, etc.

 

Ugh if I wasn't quarantining then I would love to go find some local cafe near where I live. I just got into walking, and I love walking around my neighborhood. It's so nice and peaceful here.

 

Well, there's always them FEMA camps... And I heard there may be a Jade Helm II in the works... Buckle up!

That and tanks in the streets China style will be what it will take to lock us down or up. You will have to literally end our Republic and shred the constitution completely in order to get the kind of raw power needed to compel our obedience to or compliance with your wishes.

Are you denying hundreds of thousands of businesses are going bankrupt due to forced closure. Really?

 

Do you have a link for those hundreds of thousands that have gone bankrupt?

 

I didn’t say we wouldn’t wash our hands and take other precautions, use vitamin D and zinc, and social distance or even that I wouldn’t wear a mask indoors where I can’t socially distance. The rest, forget it.

 

My local government will not be an issue for me nor will local law enforcement. We’ve kept everything open we can get away with and the population goes shopping and to work. Our law enforcement is education only and doesn’t enforce closures or masks.

 

So then you agree there isn’t a lockdown. Yes, early on when every state had some type of shutdown there were many businesses that went under as a result, which is awful. I don’t think there should have ever been any level of shutdown. But to claim people are “locked down” is disingenuous.

 

I hear that the latest miracle prevention against Covid is licking Trump's ass ... it's all over the internet.
