Do Homosexuals Think They Can Get a Free Pass from God?

The homosexuals have been very successful at infiltrating the churches and getting them to change their teachings on homosexuality.

Even the Catholic Church has been compromised, with homosexuals running rampant in the priesthood.

But here's the thing: the Bible is very clear that sodomy is a sin.

Even if homosexuals convince every last church to change its teachings, the Bible will still say sodomy is a sin.

So God is not going to change his mind on this issue.

God thinks sodomy is a sin and what he thinks is all that matters.

So do homosexuals think God will give them a pass?

 

Honestly, I don't think they give a (*)(*)(*)(*) if he does or not. Most people these days just don't care what God thinks, that's if they even believe in him.

We all read this forum, many people actually hate God, or hate the idea of God in it's entirety and want to live a life free of God's influence be it in morals, or ethics or anything else.

 

If all the theives, all the adulterers, and all the idol worshippers got together and convinced the churches to abandon the Commandments against these sins, would it make a difference?

Would God change his mind?

Would we have to round up every copy of the Bible and destroy them so that no one would know that theft, adultery and idol worship is a sin?

Would that do any good?

If you're going to commit the sin, go ahead and commit it. But stop pretending it's not a sin anymore. You can fool men, but you can't fool God.

That's the whole point you aren't getting. You can't sin when you don't believe in the concept of sin in the first place. You want people to "admit they are sinning" when in their minds, the very concept of sin doesn't exist because they were either never taught what "sin" is, or they simply refuse to accept the concept of "sin" and allow it to regulate how they live their lives. How can you expect people to admit to a concept they don't even believe in to begin with?

You need to wrap your mind around the fact that in the modern secular society we live in, there is no such thing as sin. Many people find it an ancient and outdated concept and even a dangerous one.

 

You can't wish away sin. Sin exists even if people refuse to acknowledge it. All of us sin every day and are constantly in need of reconciliation. If you don't ever reconcile, you will die with your sins on your soul.

 

That may or may not be true, but God does his punishment in the next life and not this one and it seems to me that everyone is concerned more about this one and doesn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about the next one or what happens to their soul when they die, or even if they have a soul.

Are you trying to imply that God will punish America as a whole in this life for not believing in his rules?

You know one can be atheist or agnostic without being completely insulting to the concept of God to a believer. Belittling the religious is not productive in anyway and neither is attempting to shame them into silence.

I'm not sure that ancient pagan Greeks had the concept of sin either to them the Gods were no better(and often worse) than human beings.

 

They had their version of paradise and hell.

 

Ironically a homosexual who is a good person according to god will "burn in hell" but a person who murders 20 people if they "repent" they go to "heaven"

Yes, all nations come under the observance and judgement of God. America is no different. Just as her blessings are the product of strong Christian faith in the past, so the judgements are coming due to the turning away from that faith.

I believe in God, and also don't believe she hates any of her creation, including gays. I don't understand how any modern man can accept the writings of desert tribes that existed several thousand years ago as an indication of what God thinks about any issue. The Bible reflects the history and culture of the times. Period. Man wrote the Bible, not God.
