    Do you have a source for these claims? The only mainstream study I have seen that shows gay men are vastly more likely to molest children was taken as a self assessment by prisoners when being gay was still illegal. Modern studies that I have seen have shown men that identify as homosexual are slightly less likely to harm a child than men that identify as heterosexual.

    I also find your 10% number to be absurd. You seem to be just blindly making up percentages.

    It’s funny you say that, my friend group was talking the other day and the gay group was unanimous in their desire to not only never have children but to avoid them as well.

    My husband and I are the odd ones out but we didn’t really have a choice.

    The list of notable trans atheletes is only about 40 or so, so for close to one third of them to be transmen and you also never hearing about them shows what your media is feeding you.

    I put out in an earlier thread all the sex scandals of politicians. I then tallied both the Republicans and Democrats in general, and then the child ones specifically.:

    Republican total:52
    Democrat total:33

    Republican child count: 8
    Democrat child count: 5

    I've got 20 to 1 odds that every one of those Republicans who committed child offenses claimed they are heterosexual.

    Third option, set your classes based on ability and not sex or gender. Then all that division that you want will naturally fall out, and everyone competing in that class will be doing so on a even playing field. You won't even have "mediocre" males dominating females, since the ability levels will be the same.

    @cd8ed had the same list that I put out on another forum. He forgot Quince Mountain in the Iditarod, but otherwise hit it. 12 trans men, 25 trans women, and 6 non-binary athletes, and yet for some reason no one is complaining about the 18 who are not trans women. And of course, opponents never bother to mention the ones like Lia Thomas who not only had her record broken by a cis woman, but by a large margin, when Thomas herself, only made her record by a small margin over the previous record.

    Since more Republicans than Democrats have child sex scandals, as well as sex scandals in general, your argument isn't holding much water. See the link two posts back.

    I think thats fairly a given. Especially among children. The most common form of sexual abuse is child on child. Because they are acting out what was done to them without the understanding.

    Are they coming for your children to read to them (ie drag queen story hour) or to rape them repeatedly only to be moved from location to location so they can continue to abuse as many children as possible (ie religious scandals)?

    There are norms and things that deviate from those norms. We're naturally alarmed by the deviation. For these guys to double down on the concerns of the normal? It just comes across as an admission that should alarm us.

    Neither. Why the heck would anyone want drag queens anywhere near kids?!?!?

    It seems that there are fewer truly trans people than advertised. The rest are just dressing up like clown versions of women for the attention. I like clowns and find them entertaining so I am not against these clowns. But also, clowns have been known to be pedophiles at a higher rate than society, so I can see the argument against clowns as well. People just need to be vigilant watching their children around these clowns so they cannot act on any impulses that could arise. Could happen with much of society really.

    BTW, I have not seen a trans that could be mistaken for an actual woman reading to kids yet as those that do look like clown versions of women. So, the kids probably think that is funny too.

    There are norms (right handed) and things that deviate from those norms (left handed and ambidextrous). And you're right we have often be alarmed by such. Look at how much effort used to be made to get children to no longer be left handed. And then we learn better. A deviation is nothing more than a deviation. Deviations from statistical norms within humans is normal and natural. To claim otherwise is to deny science and biology.
