Slave labor helped build colleges, the White House, Monticello, Mount Vernon and many other things. The value of enslaved people in 1860 was more than all the bank, railroads and businesses combined.

 

But, you have enjoyed living in a country made possible by the labor of enslaved people.

 

You are perfectly welcome to exit if this offends your sensibilities. That is, if you even reside here. We have a lot of butthurt foreigners who post here if you wonder about that comment. No one I know owned any slaves. Therefore I'm not paying one red penny for perceived reparations.

I do reside here. And I have ancestors who were enslaved. So, I have a serious interest in this debate on reparations. It doesn't bother my sensibilities at all.
I have been talking about reparations for years. I believe it's going to happen. Maybe not in my lifetime, perhaps in my grandchildren's lifetime.

 

They were slaves when they were sold to slavers who sold them all over the world.

It's just something that some are still trying to eradicate today, but for historical purposes, slavery is just something that can be found in all of our ancestry.

I'm not going to be the one who is responsible for that, since I've never owned a slave.

We all have ancestors who were enslaved. You don't know this, obviously, but slavery has been part of the human experience for as long as there have been humans. You want reparations? How about a giant middle finger and a "piss off, ya bloody wanker!"?

There's nothing serious about it. Just democrats pandering to blacks in the hopes that they can sway them to vote for them.

Blacks are kinda... well, IQ isn't their strong suite, and democratic politicians know this, so they pretend that for some reason, their enslavement is somehow different from the enslavement of others.

It's not serious, but blacks are kinda... low onn the IQ range, so it could become serious. That's what democrats are banking on. They're too stupid to realize that they weren't the only ones who suffered through slavery, so maybe those low IQ dumb sons of bitches will vote democratic.

It is a serious threat because blacks really are on the lower side of the IQ scale, so I dunno.

Reparations paid

 

My descendants certainly didn't own slaves. How many immigrants came to America after slavery was completely abolished? Does the race baiting left feel that they should pay reparations? I'd like to know exactly who pays and who receives? If a black American is 1/4 white does he only get 75% of what the leftist elite decide would be fair?? What about a recent immigrant from Kenya, does he pay to even though his skin is black? I'd like to know these things!
