    Does the Republican party really think Trump was cheated?
    It is obvious and a majority of the people think Trump was cheated. That includes a preponderance of Republicans, but certainly not all Republicans. There are many Republicans who are pleased to see Trump go.

    No one suggested changing the rules and banning absentee ballots. It was Dems that changed the rules to their advantage. Again, cheating means they broke the rules. The didn't break any rules; they changed them.

    You will I bet adamantly refuse to see the distinction between mail-in and absentee voting until hell freezes over. I admire your tenacity but not your rationale.

    it was the republican that changed the rules, and that was due to Trump's attempts to slow down the postal service, so they added more time for the postal service to get the mail to them, but the votes still had to be postmarked by election day

    They used Covid to justify and got away with it. Anything with a 2% risk of death can be used by both sides in the future.

    You are incorrect. Republicans did try to change the rules, but were unsuccessful. If it were up to them, ID would have been required. Hey, It was an effective strategy you will certainly see being used by the other side.

    I agree in principle; it is a shame, especially when in at least one instance it was a court breaking the law to change the rules.

    Except the Dems had operatives working in most state governments long before COVID showed up. COVID was just a welcome present from the tooth fairy as far as they were concerned.

    They changed the rules of the game from getting people out to vote to getting people to color in a circle. Lowering the amount of effort was an advantage. Republicans failed to increase the amount of effort by requiring ID. It was an effective strategy and it did reveal that the level of effort required is in proportion to how people vote.

    Could you be a little more specific please? How does the effort required to vote work in favor of Democrats? Were Republicans not mailed ballots? The argument makes no sense.

    republicans are in control in these States, so they did change the time frame allowed from the postal service as Trump tried to cheat and slow them down

    I'm sorry to break this to you but the entire "Stop the Steal" campaign is nothing more than a transparent canard perpetrated by a master conman in order to fleece his supporters in to giving him millions of dollars he can do with what he pleases.

    How many more challenges to the election must be thrown out (laughed out) of court for a lack of proof before you accept there is absolutely no merit to the claims of fraud?
