    Meadow's book bombed big time.
Too funny though that Cassidy Hutchinson's "Enough" hit NYT #1

Mark Meadows sued by book publisher over false election claims
BY REBECCA BEITSCH - 11/03/23 3:58 PM ET

'The publisher of Mark Meadows’s book is suing the former White House chief of staff, arguing in court filings Friday morning that he violated an agreement with All Seasons Press by including false statements about former President Trump’s claims surrounding the 2020 election.

“Meadows, the former White House Chief of Staff under President Donald J. Trump, promised and represented that ‘all statements contained in the Work are true and based on reasonable research for accuracy’ and that he ‘has not made any misrepresentations to the Publisher about the Work,’” the publishing company writes in its suit, filed in court in Sarasota County, Fla.'

    It gets better. lol

'The company is asking for the $350,000 it paid Meadows as an advance for the book, $600,000 in out-of-pocket damages, and at least $1 million each for reputational damage suffered by the company and loss of expected profits for the book, which they argue plummeted given Meadows’s involvement in numerous investigations regarding Jan. 6.

The suit reveals a long and tense relationship between Meadows and his publisher, which has published a suite of books from conservative figures.'

'Mark Meadows Undermines Trump’s Defense That He Declassified Confidential Documents'

'According to an early draft of Meadows’ book, The Chief’s Chief, reviewed by ABC, he described a post-presidency meeting where Meadows’ ghostwriter and publicist were at Trump’s Bedminster, N.J., office. At that meeting, Meadows wrote, the former president was holding a classified draft of a plan to attack Iran.

But before the book was published, Meadows had the publisher remove the paragraph describing that moment. Meadows told investigators that he requested the change because Trump having that document would be “problematic.”

Need to reactivate my primary Georgia thread with today's news.

Like MOST leaks coming out of MAGA cases, it's the defense doing the leaking. At least this guy came out and admitted it

    SNIP
A lawyer for a former elections director charged alongside former President Donald Trump and others over efforts to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election said Wednesday that he released videos of prosecutors’ interviews with some of their codefendants because he thought they helped his client and the public had the right to see them.

Jonathan Miller, an attorney for Misty Hampton, made the comments at a hearing requested by Fulton County prosecutors after news outlets earlier this week reported on the videos, which were recorded as part of plea deals. Prosecutors initially asked the judge to impose an order to prevent the release of any evidence in the case.

I really don't think the public has a right to see discovery material at this point in the trial, but I also don't defend scum, so who knows?

They all deserve each other and come what may.
Just like the feud now taking place between Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro over Israel/Hamas/Palestinians which has Owens running to be on Tucker's spew platform tonight.

'Georgia prosecutors ask judge to jail election subversion defendant over 'effort to intimidate' witnesses'
    Source: CNN Politics

Updated 5:32 PM EST, Wed November 15, 2023

CNN — Fulton County prosecutors asked a judge Wednesday to jail Harrison Floyd, who is charged in the 2020 election subversion case in Georgia, because of his alleged “effort to intimidate codefendants and witnesses,” according to court filings.

This is the first time Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has asked to revoke someone’s bond in the case. Prosecutors highlighted Floyd’s recent social media posts about Georgia election officials who are likely to be called as witnesses in the case, as well as his recent comments on a conservative podcast about Jenna Ellis, who pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate.

“The Defendant’s actions demonstrate that he poses a significant threat of intimidating witnesses and otherwise obstructing the administration of justice in the future, making him ineligible for bond,” prosecutors wrote in the court filing. Floyd’s legal team declined to comment to CNN, saying they have just begun reading the filing.

Floyd, the leader of Black Voices for Trump, pleaded not guilty to three state felonies, largely tied to his role in an intimidation campaign targeting two Atlanta election workers in late 2020. Former President Donald Trump and his allies falsely accused the workers of massive voter fraud."

Fani could be boxing herself into a corner here, because while Floyd has probably 19 followers on his social media, we all know another defendant, who also likes to intimidate witness and obstruct justice, who has a few more...

She may also be firing a warning shot. If she gets remand for this defendant, it sets the stage for similar actions and makes it harder for future defendants to
    argue against remand........

Florida has stalled, but Loose Cannon hasn't officially moved her mid-May date. Until she does (I'd guess she'll wait to the last minute to do so, being a MAGA judge), Fani cannot ask for May...

She probably should have asked for late June and been satisfied with early August... There would be nothing funnier than Trump being convicted in one case on a Friday, and starting a new case the following Monday...

I doubt there has ever been a more aggressive political hate campaign in History than the one directed at Donald Trump. The libs and left are deeply offended.
How dare him imply there might be election fraud in Georgia... or that they might be incapable of managing their own elections competently.

If there had been substantial election/voter fraud in Georgia, I leave it to the Republican elected official in charge of elections in that state to have it confirmed.

He says there wasn't.... Who am I to believe? Somebody with expertise and local knowledge of the state, or the butthurt mentally disturbed losing candidate?

I put it to YOU, Greg...

I believe an intelligent, rational observer would know enough about human nature to recognize that people spewing hate usually lack justifiable grounds, and are resorting to the hate, distortion and system abuse tactics out of frustration at not getting their way- not unlike what we see in small, spoiled children. If you can't use an open, independent mind to asses events, the place to start is developing that, not buying into the blame games.

Nothing of value has ever been accomplished by such people.

Sounds like the the left's standard mirror/echo crap. The three D's of protection from facts and accountability- Denial, Defelection. Deterrence.

Understanding is never off-topic. Just not something you can force anyone to do with any amount of information.
