When I first was sent to Egypt I was very excited and with good cause as the wonders of the Ancient Egyptian Architecture and Ancient Temples and cites are AMAZING.

When I went there not too many years ago one could tell how groups like the Muslim Brotherhood had POISONED the Egyptian Culture and what was once a nice and safe place for a person from the U.S. or Western States to go to had degraded into mob mentality spot Islamic Extremism.

Now the people who were advocating this strict Islamic culture had come from countries outside of Egypt but had made inroads with the poor rural Egyptian Youth and Uneducated. These Muslim Fundamentalists had come from countries like Iran...were we saw Qud's Force Iranian operatives doing their very best to stir up issues.

    I am sure you did.

The question that remains is if you KNEW this was going to happen....why did you all vote for Morsi?

I mean...the CIA and DIA were so certain this would happen if Morsi was elected that they had CENTCOM summon the Egyptian Military's Liaison and flew him out to Tampa Florida just to make certain everyone was on the same page and knew what to do once Morsi took office.

    So why elect this guy?

Maybe because who the other candidate was or represented?

This whole election issue has made Egypt look very backwards and a lot of people are laughing at their attempts at Democracy.

They are VERY lucky that CENTCOM was watching their asses.

    Which coup supporters?

The ones calling for Prince Ahmed the son of King Farouq who was ousted in the military coup to come back and take his throne.

The manager of the famous Orman park which is beside the Nahda sit in has sent formal complaint to the Giza Governor to halt the destruction of the park by Ikhwan and Salafist sit in protestors.

They have totally destroyed trees dating back thousand years and destroyed a special section off limits to the public where they grow endangered and rare species of plants. They are using the park as public toilet and destroying the grassy areas where families used to be able to go on weekends!!!

agreed but it was not Iran

The extremism came from Saudi Arabia

    via

    1. Poor villagers who were workers in Saudia returning back home every few months bringing Wahabi ideology to their villages and homes.

    2. Extremist scholars on religious channels pouring poison into the ears of the illiterates and easily influenced through a huge network of TV channels owned and funded by Saudi just like they are doing in Pakistan.

    3. Extremist Saudi Wahabi scholars teaching in the mosques and taking control of the printing and selling of religious books and opening bookstores around Mosky Khan al Khalili area where a lot of books are bought.

The most dangerous was number 2 to the illiterates who are being indoctrinated by Wahabism on TV.

The only Iranian kind of influence I see on TV here is Tareq Ramadan on Press TV and he is totally moderate and lives in Switzerland and France. You can listen to him and there is nothing he says that would scare or upset non Muslims unlike the likes of Al Nas Saudi channels or Huda TV which is clearly insanity for any right thinking person and totally alien to the Egyptian culture and religion.

Egypt has been infiltrated by not by Iranian clerics but Saudi ones.

actually that was only one of the reasons you are so hated

    there are thousands more

    10 years max....................

Recommend watching an excellent drama series of the sick Israeli regime I watched 2 weeks ago called The Promise
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Promise_(2011_TV_serial)

All about the Irgun and Stern terrorists fighting British soldiers and murdering the ones who gave them the stolen land of Palestine and set in both today and 1940's and the blowing up of King David Hotel and many other things. Once scene was very good where the lead actress suffers an epileptic fit in a nightclub and the Israelis just look at her and laugh as she lies on floor. Very well done subtle messages in it.

You can download it here in 4 parts

Warned about provocation the Ikhwan have now opened their 3rd outlet at Mohammed Mahmoud St just off Tahrir Square which is absolutely without doubt a move to clash with Tahrir protestors.

You dont go to Mohammed Mahmoud today with peaceful intentions in mind!!!!

State television says security authorities will impose a siege over the protest camps of deposed President Mohammed Morsi's supporters, a step before clearing them.

A state TV broadcast on Friday said the siege at two Cairo sit-in sites will begin within 48 hours. It said authorities will let people leave, but not allow anyone else in.

He must have read these 3 pages

As U.S. lawmakers weigh measures to restrict aid to Egypt, one crucial consideration is being largely overlooked: Shutting off the defense materiel pipeline to Cairo would take several years and ensnare the United States in an unprecedented contractual quandary.

Since the early 1980s, the United States has granted Egypt an extraordinary ability to place orders with American defense contractors that are worth far more than Congress has appropriated for military aid, according to U.S. officials. Under the mechanism, called cash-flow financing, Egypt can submit large orders for equipment that takes years to produce and deliver, under the assumption that U.S. lawmakers will continue to allocate the same amount in military aid year after year.

How lucky we are that Kerry's scurrilous mumblings are not representative of America.
