You'll need a Constitutional amendment to authorize change.org to overturn elections. Good luck.

I've also wondered. I'm just glad it didn't put them over the top.

That's why Hillary conceded almost immediately. She's not interested in the recount as she knew very well that she would end up with less votes.

If democrats really want to American people to trust them again they would agree to reform of the voting system. Anyone voting must provide a legitimate U.S document with a valid photo. Prove that you're the resident and legal citizen of the USA.

Do you want a civil war? Because this is how you get a civil war.

All one has to do is look at the electoral map to see why a constitutional amendment will never get out of Congress, let alone pass 2/3s if the states.

I agree. Rural states would lose so much power that we would essentially become two countries within one (with rural states left with almost no power). That would be a horrible thing.

Thankfully it's about as likely as a Brexit or a Trump victory....oops....

How many dead, duplicate, and non-citizen votes were there?

The Electoral College could be usefully reformed without removing state power by doing this:

    Eliminate first past the post.

Have the two electoral votes per state go to whoever won that state, but apportion the votes based on population by percentage of the vote.

No one knows. I never said I did, do you? Do you contend that every single vote cast was legitimate? Can YOU prove they were?

I just checked the petition web site, which is up to 2.2 million so far.
Thing is anyone can sign it, even the 11 million illegals who will be going home soon. :flagus:

It doesn't matter. (so you can save the slurs and nonsense)

Petitions don't change the Constitution and this particular one is a very bad idea, that has no chance of being anything more than a protest

Talk about an attempt to SUPPRESS the Vote.
Which again, means those at MSNBC like little punk Lawrence O'Donnell
are Liars and connivers.MSNBC spent the entire Summer of 2012 on their
Voter Suppression Movement.I still need the name of just one Minority
who had their vote Suppressed in 2012.
Then last Night, the little bug of a man,O'Donnell, spent half his show making
the case for Turning on the Electoral College. As in how silly an idea the
Founders had in it's invention. The Federalist Papers spells out, distinctly, the need
    for State-Based and Population-based Government.
That is why Each and every Presidential candidate needs to at least campaign
in most every state ... since those States are the ones with the Electoral Votes which
determine a President. What the Cheats like Hillary want and those at MSNBC
is for huge Population centers like N.Y.City and Los Angeles to determine a
President.Meaning the number of Votes not the spread of those votes, like across
all states. It's not even the number of states won, technically.
Because winning California is like winning 10 states. How *******ned fair is that.
But you'll never hear a Dimocrat complain about California, now will ya.
    Now why is that.?
    Like .... DuH

Not so. Several states require by law that the electors vote (in this care) according to the election results in their states.
Under certain election law, electors that do not vote for the winner are nullified; under certain election law, the elector himself can be fined.

When an elector votes for someone other than the winner of his state, he defies the will of the people.

PLus WHO counts the votes.? How many are duplicates. It's rife with the
possibility of fraud.Which is all the more reason to chuck it farther and faster
than any Chuck E Cheese Pizza full of spoiled anchovy spread like butter.

Don't worry.Fear not ... You Can't. Hillary already tried as did Al Gore.
After Gore lost Florida.Hillary got into the Popular Vote debate.
I still remember her usurping into that discussion.Like she did as First
Lady with her health Care initiative.

Oh but the Left has every right to.You see they possess the Moral High Ground.
Because they are well-intentioned.As in the way they gather like Hitler
Storm Troopers outside a bldg. { Trump Tower } spending hours hurling
    Obscenities.But They're well-intentioned.
Dint ya know.Dint ya git the Memo.

I think they should pick a GOP governor or Senator other than Trump who is considered a safe option for President and Sanders for VP and toss out both Hillary and Trump if they go this way, since they can pick anyone who meets the minimum Constitutional demands for both offices they should do so. There has to be one Republican moderate left somewhere who is a good choice for the high office.

Again, they will not. You didn't even attempt to address my statement.

Half the voters in Florida voted for Clinton. No Florida elector will vote for Clinton.

How can you say that the electors will vote in accordance with the voters when half the voters voted for Clinton but not one of Florida's 39 electoral voters will?

    - - - Updated - - -

How do you figure that Florida EC voters "will vote the will of the people" when half the people in Florida voted for Clinton, and not one of Florida's 39 EC voters will vote for Clinton?
