Empire Actor Jesse Smollett Arrested!

What would they be charged with? Charging them would be like charging Bruce Willis for attempted murder because he was shooting a fake gun at actors during the filming of die hard.

If they hadn't agreed to cooperate with the police, then they would have had to arrest them for attacking Smollett.

 

If this weren't a hoax, or before it was known that it was a hoax....

a normal reaction would be the reaction that normal people should have.......(a horrible and despicable act which happens far too often....)

except from certain factions of the right who believe everything that doesn't fit their narrative is a hoax. Even Trump Jr. was backing up all the people who claimed it was hoax before there was any evidence....as guilty of a rush to judgement as anyone....more so actually.

Now that it is shown that it is probably a hoax, the right leaps up and down like it means anything beyond what a normal person's reaction should be....if this guy did this, he's an idiot. End of story. Not some proof that the media or the left are all fake...they had the correct reaction initially to what was reported by the police to them.

Maybe if you lack common sense, this hoax would have been believable. But as soon as details started being made public, red flags started going up.
