I did not say “cave Queen” was not a racial slur, I said I have no idea what it means. You are so insulted and disgusted by such a racist comment then you must know what it means. Tell me and I might agree with you.

The other problem is you obviously have a negative stereotype of the Black race. That is the definition of racism. You need to own it, instead of trying to rationalize your way out, then maybe you will do something about it. It’s not healthy. One thing you can do, if you are still a “customer service representative” is not acting like you are skeptical of them when they voice their needs and maybe they won’t go “racist” on you when their needs are not met.

I treat every customer with equal respect so how dare you sit here and make your completely unfounded assumptions.

But I'll go ahead and tell you about one time I was called racial slurs and you tell me how that somehow my fault okay?

I'm standing in the garage with my back to the highway one night and I hear tires chirp, I turn around and look and this black fellow says hey I think I just ran something over could you look under my car..... So I say sure I look under his car and I don't see anything.

So I say I'm sorry sir I didn't see anything under there. He asked me to hold my flashlight which is around my neck on a band. I let him hold my light and a couple of minutes later I come back and he says he found it..... I asked him what is it?

He tells me it's robots. So I told him to give him my light back I don't have time for this.

Cuz the man is obviously on dope.

About 2 months later he comes back in the store about 1:30 a.m. and ask me if I can go out and check his oil ( keep in mind this is a grown man of about 35 ) ( also keep in mind I'm not a mechanic and I'm the only employee there at the time and my job is to run the store) I told him sir I have a store full of customers at the moment and I'm here by myself I'm sorry I won't be able to do that, but you're welcome to come back at 6:00 a.m. when the mechanics get here. He says well let me hold your light I see it around your neck....

Notice no please? It's like I said people have lost the basic ability to be courteous to others.

I told him no I don't loan my light out.

So he proceeds to call me all kind of cracker and white boy and other profanities.

So are you telling me I should have loaned my light out to someone who is obviously on drugs so that I could lose my personal property?

So go ahead and tell me how it's my fault.

yeah gringo is used so casually 'round here that apparently no one knows it is a derogatory term. On the occasion it comes up, I remind the user that I am "Anglo".

Gringo they may use on yankees behaving poorly.

I'm going to assume you're over the age of 70 at minimum because no normal, rational person in this day still refers to black people as "Negroes." They just say black.

Guess I should respect my elders even if they're stuck in 1940.

That's only a belief from a narrow point of view.

    Skin colors don't bother me.
I have no problems with stones.

That was not an unfounded assumption. You admit you are skeptical of their intent and if that comes across in any way their reaction will skew negative only adding to your bias.
Speaking of adding to your bias was your little anecdote about some rude nut job and thinking that's how them people act.

So that's my fault that he acted that way?
Keep in mind this is only one time I've been called racial slurs at work for no reason.

The term "negroe" is making a comeback in the last decade within the black community. I've stated it earlier but it's important to not lose that connection to history. It's not a particularly derogatory term, many black folk used it officially previously, unlike it's bastard cousin term, the N-word.

The noun, negroe, is fairly ancient, related to Ethiopia, Km.t, Iberia and possibly kush (Africa/India).

It's technically not derogatory but it's so outdated. I mean it's 2023, it's not the Great Depression or the 20s anymore, it's now. It gives me vibes of people who still talk to everyone like it's the 70s and we're still doing the hippie "far out man!" thing.

Somebody is working hard to get my posts deleted, but just to make sure you know I've decided "cave Queen" is not a racial slur as you assumed but means a closeted homosexual. Hmmm? Makes more sense on this thread.

Would you mind breaking that down into a post that makes sense?

You were unable to supply a definition, for same, although you said it was an obvious racial slur and I supplied the more than obvious definition.

Yes because the definition is not obvious when it uses a derogatory slur towards a person of white color

The term does indeed mean that.
