FBI Claims 95% of Shredded and Buried UA93 Recovered Less Than Two Weeks After 9/11

    CNN:
    September 24, 2001 Posted: 3:14 PM EDT (1914 GMT)

SHANKSVILLE, Pennsylvania (CNN) -- The FBI announced Monday that its investigation of the site where a hijacked jet slammed into a field here is complete and that 95 percent of the plane was recovered.

The federal investigation into the September 11 terrorist attacks continues.

Evidence-gathering was halted Saturday afternoon and the pieces of United Airlines Flight 93 that had been recovered were turned over Sunday to the airline, with the exception of the flight data recorder and the voice recorder, which are being held and analyzed by the FBI, according to FBI agent Bill Crowley.

Crowley said the biggest piece of the plane that was recovered was a 6-by-7-foot piece of the fuselage skin, including about four windows. The heaviest piece, Crowley said, was part of an engine fan, weighing about 1,000 pounds.
This is really, really hard to believe, given the official story that much of the plane was buried deep underground and small pieces of the plane were found for acres around the official crash site. In fact, it sounds like total baloney. Keep in mind, that they are not only saying that they recovered 95% of the bris in less than two weeks, but that they managed to reconstruct the plane with the debris enough to know that they got 95%!!!

No pictures of this? 93 was shot down.

The article you posted which seems to have blended into your commentary didn't say 95% was buried; it said that 95% had been recovered.

There was a quote in my original thread that said 80% of Flight 93 was buried.

That claim seems accurate to fit the story since it looks like no more than 15% worth of a 757 was left above ground and the FBI claiming to have recovered 95% of the plane at the end.

At no point does the 9/11 Commission Report regard a percentage of plane burial.

Well, the claim is they recovered 95% of it. So if they know they recovered that percentage, what did they do? Add up all the little pieces and weight it or find it all in a hole? Or did they just "pull it out of their collective "official as*es?? (Likely the latter I'm sure but...just sayin').

I don't know why the perps were that stupid to say 95% of the plane was recovered, they'll have to be asked that reason, but the 80% buried number that's being told to visitors at the Flight 93 Memorial as the official story is somewhat of a consistent number in a sense since that would mean 15% of the 757 was above ground and if you look at the above ground pics of the wreckage, it looks to be no more than 15% of a 757 in my opinion.

I just patiently waiting for evidence that prove a large portion of the plane was indeed buried. So far, the evidence has been severely lacking.

Well, the FBI said that it was "mostly buried". Pick your percentage, but I agree. There is no evidence to support any claim of anywhere near "mostly" buried. Nothing.

Cite a source where the FBI said that.

Why are you trying to distance the FBI from saying the plane buried, especially when you claim the reason you think the plane buried is because you "called" Shanks workers who "told you" that's what happened?

Never said they were and nice dodge.

    Let me try again:

Why are you trying to distance the FBI from saying the plane buried, especially when you claim the reason you think the plane buried is because you "called" Shanks workers who "told you" that's what happened?

How about you help him out then be replacing his innocent mistake with what the FBI has claimed:

"FBI claims [?] of 93 buried"

And the "?" doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a %.

Why don't you go find the answer to your own question, because, frankly, I'm not particularly interested in dealing with any request you make.

His thread title made the claim that the FBI said 95% was buried.

This is not true and it's not the first time the OP has done this, so I doubt it was an "innocent" mistake.

    Regarding the thread title:

Cite a source that the FBI made this claim, or admit that the thread title is untrue.

Well since you demand he change the title and you support the official story, I figured you'd know all the facts, so...

You have interesting standards. Two little mistakes equals a lie in your mind, but one of your skeptic pals can make unlimited wild and unsubstantiated claims, some of a gross nature, and you're cool with that. Nice.

We admitted it was an innocent mistake. The 95% was the FBI's claim of how much of the 757 was recovered in total.

    Now for the 3rd time:

Why are you trying to distance the FBI from saying the plane buried, especially when you claim the reason you think the plane buried is because you "called" Shanks workers who "told you" that's what happened?

The FBI were not the people I spoke with. Therefore it has nothing to do with this thread.

So the thread title is an innocent mistake? Good. No need to waste anymore time on it.

More 'truther' personal attacks. This time in gibberish.

The OP and thread title are an admitted mistake. What else is there to add?

    1. Evidence was planted on the scene in Shanksville.
    2. Val McClatchey had faked her photo

There's two right there. Both of them gross in nature.

Another Flight of Fantasy by those who refuse to accept the real events of the world.

You probably also believe in the Fairy Stork story.
