Their wish to be "seen as" females, or their wish to be called female and referred to as "she/her?"

    How so?

You may never know that they ARE men. Not "were men." Get it right!

I already said biological males should not be allowed to compete against biological females in athletic competitions. It's why I said "most" above. A genetic test should be required.

As I said, a genetic test...

I think males have at least a small advantage.

If there is a serious competition in middle school, I would limit males.

You don't see trans as having problems in a cisgender world? Really?

    Use genetic tests...

We should let them be who they are. But something should change in terms of sports rules. It's possible that they would need not to have gone through male puberty to compete, or have low testosterone for a number of years first - it's going to depend on what truly constitutes an unfair advantage. A cis woman who abused steroids can't compete either. It's really not that different.

I don't call them women. I call them dudes in a very elaborate and expensive costume.

    But still dudes.

    Science.

Why are you arguing with the conservatives in this thread? We are saying the same thing.

What's your point? If they want to dress like women, why would you not refer to them in ways they prefer, especially if they look like women? I say that because I don't want to see people criticized for using the wrong pronoun. For me, if he dresses and looks like a woman, it's easy to say "she." It starts to get complicated if you don't like or look like one or the other, and perhaps want to be "they."

My feeling is I don't want to spend my time on these issues. You want to be "she?" Okay. You want to compete against women in women's athletic contests? I don't think so. I'm not going to support you abusing people, in this case women who train and compete. You make a mockery of their events.

    Some have issues with pronouns.

He looks like a "he" and wants to be "he." That's easy.
He looks like a "she" and wants to be "she." Okay.
He looks like a "he" and wants to be "she." I dunno. Women may not like "her" around.
He looks like a "she" and wants to be "he." Okay.

What if they are biological males, dress in men's clothing, cut their hair like men and have mustaches and beards, are attracted to women and therefore gay in their minds, even though they are attracted to people with genitalia different from their own?

I don't mind calling him "she", though at some point this starts to look narcissistic, silly, and exhibitionist.

I am quite sure, you are not of the opinion that legislation is the solution, for every dispute or disagreement, within our society, so your reply would seem to be, if perhaps not inapplicable, at least insufficiently championed, or explained, in your response.

As for the fact that they are "leaders"-- I disagree that this implies that it is their place to weigh-in on every controversial call, referees render, during the football post-season, for example.

Maybe. Perhaps for some, not others.

Bottom line—they don't get to compete against women. Check chromosomes.

    Of course not.

I was going to explain my post, but it's clear enough to the fair-minded.

"They're no longer males." You have since acknowledged that they ARE!
