Never back down in the face of Jihad and backwards Islam, defend freedom of speech :)

Defiance in the face of Islamic supremacist intimidation and thuggery. Bravo. "French paper reprints Mohammad cartoon after fire-bomb," by Brian Love for Reuters,
Pull my other leg, Dahmane. If that were true, then why was Charlie Hebdo firebombed, and why is the OIC pursuing an all-out campaign to force the West to criminalize criticism of Islam?

Excellent. I shall be sending a letter of support to M. Hebdo.

The arsonists have yet to be caught and their religious affiliations ascertained before some of you start blaming Islam.

Show the Islamists that the West still values free speech.

There is a slim chance it is right wing anti-immigrant idiots attempting to tar muslims.

It should be blindingly obvious that it is most likely the work of fundamentalist Muslim idiots.

Can you buy a copy on line?

Right, it was probably some Buddhist who became enraged when a picture of Muhammad was printed.

On the one hand, they're being insulting (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bags. On the other hand, it is entirely inappropriate to firebomb the offices of insulting (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)bags merely because they are insulting. Freedom of speech, even annoying, insulting, discriminatory, and/or hateful speech, is one of the most vital rights to the preservation of a free society. It *MUST* be protected.

A slim chance of innocence should be enough of a reason to withhold judgement.

I do not know about buying a copy on line but I can have it shipped if you want.

Good to hear the Islamist swine need to be shown they are not in charge and that their pedophile prophet is not above mockery.

Good for them. I don't know if I would have the guts to stand up to them with my own neck on the chopping block but it's nice to see those that are.

If insulting a religion is protected under free speech then shouldn't firebombing them also be protected under freedom of expression?

Just a thought for the freedom fighters on here.

No because destroying another persons property is not the same thing as hurting someones feelings besides the religion of the pedophile prophet does not deserve respect.

Mohammad (may (*)(*)(*)(*) and (*)(*)(*)(*) be upon him) was a kiddy (*)(*)(*)(*)ing POS!

Oh, but it's still somebody expressing their opinion of another's person opinion, is it not? Sure, it's an extreme and violent way of doing it, but technically it is still freedom of expression coming into play which should be protected as much as freedom of speech.

Wow you are an angry one. Lighten up. :•)

    Salam :)

Oh good, so.... is it cool for us to start firebombing any mosque where anti Western rhetoric is being preached?

I guess it would be. And the Muslims would be free to bomb anything of the people to express their opinions of the bombing. And then we'd have a big problem.... But:

If you want true free speech both sides should be free to speak no? Both should express their opinions in whichever way they feel necessary. Unless there should be a limit on free speech and expression?

While I don't support either the cartoon or the bombing, if the cartoon is an example of free speech the bombing is too, and so shoudln't be condemned by those who support the cartoon.

    Salam :)

No, the Muslim community can put together their own paper with satire critical of the West. That's how they can practice free speech.

I highly doubt anyone would consider it free speech if a Westerner fire bombed a Muslim paper for anti-Western satire.

Yes, they could. But if they don't want to, it's their right to express their opinion in whatever way they wish.

Let's take that redneck in Florida for example. Burning the Quran was him expressing free speech. Insulting the Prophet and religion was the cartoonist expressing free speech. Fire bombing the building was that person expressing free speech.

You want people to express their opinions in your way, doesn't work like that.

    Salam :)

Firebombs may break my windows but cartoons will never hurt me.

All these fundamentalists leave their (*)(*)(*)(*)ty home countries, probably due to being oppressed, then expect European countries to oppress freedom of speech to censor these newspapers.

Well, I'm of the opinion that there is a difference between a view point and violent activities. The violent type of "free speech" as you're calling it, is not protected under law. We're not allowed to harm others or their property under the guise of free speech.

I defend the right of every depraved moron to draw dirty pictures of the prophet. It provides work for toilet wall painters.

Surely this would be a good way to catch the nutuslims, get a publisher to do this sort of thing and have the Police set a trap! I'm actually suprised more people dont do Muhummad art and publish it widely... all it takes for them to think they are right is for people not to publish it.

LOTS of people do Mohammad art all the time all over the place.

Google gives about 1.4 MILLION results on Google Images JUST for "muhammad cartoons", and many, if not most, have a purported "Muhammad" in them.
