Gazprom said that the gas supply to EU will be stopped indefinitely due to technical malfunctiions. If the EU goes ahead and manipulates the oil market as well by putting a cap on Russian oil - as it's planning to do, Russia will embargo them as well, so the EU won't have enough oil either.

I couldn't understand before why Putin said that he destroyed the World Economic Forum and its Great Reset - which is nothing more than a precursor to a one world government. I even recall 2 decades ago George Soros advocating a one world government and economic system.

Well now I know why Putin said it. Contrary to the corporate giants at Davos, who believe they own and run the world, Putin has let them know that it's food and fuel that reigns supreme.

Davos you owned us or so you thought
not knowing your reasoning was fraught

with hubris, pride and man's conceit
with hatred, lies and gross deceit

So you took battle with sanctions and hate
Thinking that you alone controls man's fate.
But it did fail and didn't prevail

Russian energy giant Gazprom announced on Friday the suspension of natural gas supplies to the EU via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, for an indefinite period, due to technical malfunctions. The pipeline was supposed to restart on September 3 following repairs to its sole operating turbine.

According to the company, it received a warning from Russia’s industrial regulator Rostekhnadzor about the turbine failure. The problems were reportedly detected during scheduled maintenance work, and the pipeline will not be able to operate without proper repairs, according to Gazprom.

Russia does not benefit from this, though I bet the EU wishes they were more energy independent

There was no reason for the EU to have energy independence, they had all the cheap gas they needed from Russia. The problem is that the EU and the US wanted to push ahead the World Economic Forum's agenda of a one world government similar to the Soviet Union where everything would be corporate owned and we will own nothing and be happy - or so they say.

Russia though would have none of it. They suffered under the imposition of the Soviet Union for 70 years. Washington thought that if they toppled Vladimir Putin the Federation would break up and its wealth could be bought up by the mega corporations.

Anyway I see the New World Order and Great Reset as nothing more than one large prison. To me the smaller a government is, the more rights an individual has. This is why our Founding Fathers, who were brilliant in my estimation, gave the States more rights than the Federal Government.

This is how wars SHOULD be fought, maybe thugs like biden and Johnson would do better to learn from this instead of sending more weapons of mass destruction to the Ukraine.

It doesn't have to, it has new business partners. What it loses on the swing, it gains on the round-a-about.

But you just said this was due to technical issues. What would that have to do with embargoes?

Unless Gazprom is lying and the Russian government actually ordered them to shut down the gas pipeline? But if that's the case, shouldn't Russia be honest and open about that rather than hiding behind blatant lies? It hardly encourages any kind of peacefully negotiated solution to the whole mess.

For whom? The people, the country, the government and the corporations. There are winners and losers in everything, this is a dualistic world we live in.

Confused? Sunshine, the avatar is the depiction of being forcibly awakened. Eyes being pried apart, not like some that have got blinkers, blindfolds or are in a coma for most. You have lost this round already. Responding with slander. Got nothing else to add to your argument?
I also notice you have a signature similarly coloured like mine, centred like mine and 3 lines like mine. Hmm, are you mimicking? That is flattery you know? Everybody wants to be like Mike.

We both seem to like the aesthetic of balance, and we both like shades of blue.
I would change the latter if I were you, because blue is the color of the Dems. :D

Btw, I'm going to change my sig, have another nice sig in mind.

Life in Blackout Britain: Experts warn energy rationing this winter could see people told not to cook until after 8pm, pubs close at 9pm, 'three-day-a-week' school, care homes cancel outings for residents and swimming pools left unheated https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ain-Experts-warn-energy-rationing-winter.html

Russia's economy is booming or haven't you been reading the news lately? We're the ones who are suffering with the sanctions, and especially the EU - and the worse is yet to come. This might be intentional though so everything can be bought up by the mega corporations that way we will own nothing and be happy - or at least according to the World Economic Forum and their great reset.

One thing I know is that the Biden administration has been destroying our oil industry and it's caused Exxon Mobile to lay off thousands of workers, but we're not supposed to know that so keep it a secret.

He didn't, no more than all the anti junta reporters who fell from windows after the coup in Ukraine. Assassinations has always been Kiev's specialty - kind of like the mafias. The mafia though did have some sense of honor since they didn't go around killing their family members.

You're mixing gas with oil. Right now there are technical issues with the gas pipeline turbines, so they're being repaired. The oil embargo will be towards the nations that impose a cap on Russian oil - which by the way will cause turmoil in the oil market and it will become unaffordable for many nations. Of course, this might be the intent.

They're such a bunch of idiots. There are protests and riots going on now all over Europe, and winter hasn't even started. This kind of makes one wonder if the EU will be intact by the end of the year. But sticking it to Putin is more important, after all the EU big wigs will not suffer, just the average Joe, so they decided now to make Nordstream II inoperable.

Well it seems the Green Party in Germany is against greenery, and are leaving the people with no choice but to cut trees for fuel.

So conflation and deflection as an answer by the direct pivot to Russian style active measures, bravo, well done!

I didn't mix-up anything. The announcement about the "technical issues" came within hours of the G7 announcing the plan to cap Russian oil prices. I don't believe there is any technical issue at all, this is politics that Russia isn't willing to openly admit.

I didn't say anything about the oil price cap being a good idea, the topic was what Russia is doing in contrast with what it is saying.

No matter what they call it, this is the byproduct of the EU decision to try to cap russian gas prices. It was the inevitable outcome of the European Commission trying to swing off its back foot. Unfortunately it will have huge knock on effects for gas here in the US even though it shouldn't
