the article indicates survival of most species in the past history of multiple reversals, but in our advanced, highly electro-magnetic based/reliant society, social catastrophe could result from all the disruptions...possibly starting a global depression economically.

Methinks you need something to 'wipe' your usual output, as they are 'butt' your usual trolling that you have been doing and geting away with for way too long...your 1-liner troll posts do nothing but take up space on this forum.

You might want to try kicking puppies to amuse yourself....you couldnt hold your own face-to-face with anyone that you anonymously harass here on the forum. Just another hit-and-run cheap-shotter...[IMG]

Once again, I will accpet your white flag. Ad homs simply means you have run out of arguments.

If you cant debate them, insult them!

And I rest mine.....the proof is in 'this sample' of your usual inane, flame-baiting posts...[I had to eliminate about 8 bored/rolleyes/thumbs down just to get them on a single post!]

Well you seem to be insulting people of faith with this thread. It seems like flamebait to me. Are you blaming God for starving children? What is the point of this thread other to insult Christians and Jews? Do you realize how many Christian and Jewish organizations there are around the US alone that collect aid and money and food for starving children throughout the world. It is Christians and Jews who do most of this type of charitable work. Here are just a few:

    http://www.forbes.com/lists/2011/14/200-largest-us-charities-11_rank.html

Using small "g" when you speak of God is an insult to many too.

They are simple rebuttals to your nonsense. Simple rebuttals is all that is takes.

Problem is, you throw ad homs instead of even attempting to refute my rebuttals.

Hence, I accept your white flag.

The GCC also gives aid and money worldwide.. They have been sending food to Somalia since 1973.. and they airlift tons and tons of food, medicine, cookstoves, blankets and tents to EVERY disaster. The dig water wells in Darfur and build clinics.

They give more per capital than the US..

The Scandanavians also contribute MORE per capita.

Asking legitimate questions is not an insult.

There are people starving in Africa. A ligament questions is why does god allow this. We are told over and over and over how this 'god' is a merciful and loving 'god', but yet this 'god' allows for starvation in Africa?

That is not merciful and loving.

Its funny how you mention using a lower case g is an insult. Did you ever stop and think that even mentioning 'god' is an insult to begin with? If you want to worship a fairy-tale, that is fine with me. That is your right to do so. But your rights end at my nose. So keep your fairy-tales to yourself, and we wont have a problem

Problem is, christians simply cannot. Case is in point. There is a debate in this country about the pledge of allegiance and the word 'god' in there.

Well guess what, if the word god wasn't added to the pledge in 1954, we wouldn’t have a problem now would we? After all, the pledge survived just fine from 1892 to 1954!

    http://www.ushistory.org/documents/pledge.htm

I always find it amusing when the religious folk talk of flaimbaiting and insults. When after all, it is them who start the nonsense to begin with.

Well, PN, the actuality is that about 90% of the atheists on this forum are trolls and militant in their altitude toward anyone of faith.

Some atheists, the 10%, non-atheist-storm-fronter types actually enter into serious discussion; whereas, the other 90% spout slurs and instigate strife among the earnest & sincere followers who post on here.

And so, in answering the 10% 'civil' atheists who post, the theists have to put up with the flame-baiting & trolling of the 90% that jump on those threads and ruin the entire discussion....they have nothing to "add" but 1-liner insults.

I never said you guys suck. Again you put words in my mouth. Am I supposed to applaud that they survived. I'm glad the people lived it's to bad the insanity didn't go away. Why do you think I am angry? That's an asinine statement you keep making. Why would I be angry? What reason would there be for that? I compare religious belief to insanity and feel sorry for the believers. I think teaching religion to a child should be considered mental abuse. So I pity the faithful. They were damaged goods before they even got a chance at life.

A scripture states, "Cursed is the man (or woman) that puts his (her) trust in mankind."

You need doctors for your body and your brain, but have nothing for your spirit. You are but 2-dimensional (Body/Soul(mind)) and are dead in spirit. And so just ignoring your spirit, the part that is eternal, will not make it go away when you die...sorry, the atheist 'cop-out' of 'I die and just go away' is just that---a cop out and not taking any responsibility for where the spirit will spend eternity.

But continue to trust in 'mankind' and prove out the above scripture...but it will be too late to change your location in eternity.

But your bold/brashness really sounds good, huh?! I'm really impressed!!!.... [IMG]

Is it possible for you to actually say something on your own? Seriously, is it?

All you have is insults and scripture. This is not debate.

Your self-righteous indignation has been noted. I'll put your name on the 90% list...
