    As Democrats ramp up hearings and secure a second Trump advisor's arrest for contempt, Republicans are finally launching a counteroffensive to the Jan. 6 committee designed to portray the investigation as "unconstitutional and illegitimate" and to put a focus on Speaker Nancy Pelosi's failures in protecting the Capitol.

    Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., the third ranking lead in the House gave a preview of the strategy during a radio interview with Breibart News on Saturday.

    “We’re working very closely with President Trump and his team with Leader Kevin McCarthy, with Jim Jordan, and really all of the House Republicans will be pushing back in a rapid response fashion,” Stefanik said.

    “You will see us all over the airwaves, we will be setting the record straight. We will be telling the truth to the American people sharing the facts and also really pointing out how unprecedented and unconstitutional and illegitimate this committee is,”…

    J    ust the News investigative news reporter has a great news report about the planned GOP response to the Jan6 committee star chamber. They will have point by point rebuttals to tell the truth to counter every democrat lie. They will also point out things that Pelosi never wanted to have discussed.     Pelosi’s lack of preparation and refusal of national guard as offered shows that she knew something was going to happen and wanted it to happen knowing that under cover federal agents would instigate it

    Good, it’s about time the spineless gop fights back a bit. The j6 committee has been an unAmerican witch hunt. Time to at least make an attempt at actual justice and hold the corrupt left accountable for thier commie attacks on justice and freedom.

    And the Republicans, in supporting Trump, have become the first seditious party. We have had a party that were almost treasonous, the Federalists, who wanted to secede while the British were invading in 1814. They paid by being nearly voted out of existence and initiating what has come to be known as "the era of good feeling" in our National politics. I personally hope that is what happens to the Republicans, as it is high time IMO

    From the onset of the crisis, the Madam Speaker's lack of leadership on that day and leading up to that day and even after that day was noted. If the Speaker were ontop of the security as she should have been, instead of hysterically worrying about nuclear weapons which she can't control perhaps the Capitol wouldn't have been ran over.
