    I will bet you that if Trump wins the democrats will refuse a peaceful transition of power.

    Lol they can’t kill the nomination. Or let me rephrase. They won’t risk killing the nomination of the man who has the support of approximately 80-90% of their party constituents.

    It's closer to 2/3, and as more of his henchmen wind up in court (and the Jan 6 public hearings), expect that to drop.

    The party insiders are already working to kill his nomination.

    And you’re also wrong about his people ending up in court. All you’re doing is galvanizing the other side. The Jan 6 committee is viewed as a partisan witch hunt using the federal government as an instrument for silencing their enemies. (Which btw is exactly what you’re eluding to that it is… but I digress).

    If you think this is going to make people LESS likely to vote for trump. You’ve got it completely backwards.

    The ONLY way you’d be right is if there was some sort of smoking gun where they can prove that Trump wanted that crowd to storm the capitol and overthrow the government.

    But you don’t have that because if you did, they would have already posted it on every media outlet on the planet.

    So what your little public hearings are going to show is a witch-hunt. And you’re gonna lose even MORE support.

    Let me ask you this. Do you think it’s coincidence the GOP is saying we are going to push back now and not before? It’s because they KNOW the Dems don’t have the smoking gun and they’re going to paint this as a witch hunt.

    Im thinking your public hearings may fail in such spectacular fashion that y’all may end them early to avoid more bad press. But it would have to be really bad for y’all to do that because you’ve already committed all your chips into the pot.

    uh..how do the Republicans KNOW anything of what the Dems have or don't? My understanding is that not even TRUMP is all that clear on what he was actually DOING on 1/6, (though his INTENTIONS were crystal clear to anyone who heard his speech)

    The Republicans are going to push back now because it's what they've been doing along and they're just doubling down in desperation. I think quite a few of them see the jailhouse looming and they've never known how to do anything else but imitate bulls in a pasture so they aren't about to start learning new things now
