Yeah. They just threatened Trump and the White House. BTW, Trump didn't convene a kangaroo court like the fascist Jan. 6 committee.

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment, but unconstitutional and illegitimate are a bridge too far. While the Jan 6 committee is an abominable continuation of a purge, AFAIK it blatantly broke House rules but unfortunately did not break any law, constitutional or otherwise.

Unfortunately, it's probably not unconstitutional or illegitimate. But, it is a clear abuse of power by one party for purely partisan politics.

Above what law? Why are Jan. 6ers still in jail w/o a trial after 1 1/2 years?

A speedy trial is a constitutional right, not something to request or beg for

continuances are asked for all the time, you have the right to a speedy trial if you want it, it's not forced on you

you have the right to vote too, but it's not forced on you

The right to a speedy trial is in the 6th amendment. What the Jan. 6 kangaroo court is doing is something a 3rd world country would do which is improperly and inappropriately detaining suspected law breakers.

Neither the prosecution nor the courts can improperly detain suspected law breakers. It's in the 6th amendment.

yes, and when the prosecution asks for a continues or more time, the defense lawyers can argue that

the fact that they did not, shows they did not mind the delay and think it also will benefit them

they are not just "suspects" once charged, your right, when you're just a "suspect", different detainment rules apply

once arrested, you can be jailed, and denied bail

According to the 6th amendment, not for over 1 1/2 years. The US did that at Guantanamo. Are DC prosecutors declaring all the Jan. 6 protestors are terrorists?..W/O proof?? :roflol:
