    Are you willing to also condemn the non-peaceful protests during the BLM/Floyd riots and the ANTIFA riots, for examples?

    Side note: Riddle me this: Why aren't the Jan. 6 witch hunters concerned with the anarchy during the BLM/Floyd riots and the ANTIFA riots? Hum? BTW, I know of some prominent congresscritters who were 'pleased' to march in peaceful ANTIFA/BLM/Floyd protests advocating for the non-peaceful riots of the BLM/Floyd/ANTIFA riots.

    I supported the peaceful protestors

    That's the job of the DOJ.... The purpose of the 1/6 committee is to document the events of the 2020 election, essentially culminating with the 1/6 riot (although it continues to this day), and show America what the GQP was up to in their attempts to overturn the election, be that activity illegal or just unAmerican asshattery....

    If the MAGA's want to call that political, knock yourselves out.... nobody non-MAGA cares about your bleating against facts....

    If they want to refute anything the committee puts out, they better come with more than "Wahhhhhhh"....

    Yep, now there are emails detailing how the Trump campaign tried to send their own electors to vote for him for GA. The coup d'etat is clear.

    I'm not sure I'd characterize that as the campaign "sending their own electors"... They already had a slate of electors FROM Georgia who planned to vote for T**** if he had won. All the campaign did was get them to forge that they were the elected electors from Georgia and send that forged document to Congress... Small distinction....

    I'm sure we are saying the same basic thing, but we have to be clear when others are on here just to cause chaos...

    We have to fight with the same intensity as they do. The right in this country follows in lock step, where as the left all has a the same place they want to get to, just all have a different idea on how to get there.

    The core difference is that the rigth literally makes things up to fit their narrative, and refuses to hold their own accountable to anything

    I agree that with trumpism one needs to be forthright, but it would be self defeating should one act like Trump.

    As the great former Sen McCain said after the Abu Garib prison scandal during the 2nd Gulf War, "it's not about who they are, it's about who we are".

    I certainly didn't always agree with McCain's politics, but he is certainly correct with that statement.

    I hope they all support peaceful protests (and condemned the insurrectionists)

    But we saw what Trump did, gasing and shooting rubber bullets at them for a photo op with a bible... sad!

    I think if Biden did that to Trump supporting protestors, the right would get it
