The 2012 reform would have done it, and it was passed by Senate with overwhelming bi-partisan vote, only to be trash-canned by Boehner. He would not allow it to be debated in the House. That will would have built a wall + boost number of agents + expedite deportation process. It had the whole GOP wish list, but they didn't even want to talk about, and they don't want to talk about it now. They only want to complain about it. I dont see that happening.

How is that Abbots fault in any way shape or form? Its because of Biden's policies on what is going on at the border that he is doing what he's doing. Nothing he did has increased the amount of illegals coming. Biden is the one encouraging them. Not Abbot. And yes, as long as Biden is President it will no doubt continue. He is that incompetent.

There's no question that power is accumulated through seniority, that the opportunities for corruption grow with the power- and it becomes entrenched. There are also advantages to the experience of seniority, but without a reliable way to insure integrity, I think the visions of duty with honor get degraded until there in none. This can be fixed. The time is right, even Congress admits it is in dire need of rehab. We're working on it here.
