______ I was born before WWII and was reading and see photos of the Holocaust at the early age of nine years of age. During the War the U.S. and it's allies were well aware that genocide was taking place in Europe and with censorship (Yes there was censorship) the information was for the most part kept from the American people until the last months of the war . Along with the 6 million Jews that were murdered by the Nazi's, Jehovah Witnesses, and Romanian Gypsies were also virtually exterminated too. It was also estimated more than 60 million humans were designated as Displaced Persons immediately after WWII.
Virtually everything a person believes in the modern world they did not see with their own eyes. If people only believed stuff they personally witnessed, most forms of education and knowledge transfer would be utterly useless.
The vast majority of bigoted holocaust deniers are from the radical far right. Interesting how so many are today openly expressing such a ridiculous idea but no surprise given that they are such ardent supporters of Trump.
