have you seen Jupiter with your own eyes? uranus? saturn? how do you know its not just a conspiracy? did you see the Roman Empire? The Persian Empire? The Greek Empire? maybe its all a conspiracy? have you ever seen a walking, breathing dinosaur?
My intention in this thread is not to "prove" that Holocaust did not happen. I was trying to show that there is truly room for debate and we should not criminalize the doubting of any aspect of the Holocaust. Do you support these laws that throw deniers in prisons?
No there is no room to debate the veracity of the Holocaust. You could debate minor details perhaps but it is as hard a truth as you can find in history. What's more since it happened in the 20th century it is as well documented as ANY point in history up to that time. If a person tries to debate something that well documented they better have some groundbreaking research on hand otherwise I would examine their motives and preconceived notions.

Neither you or I saw the civil war with our own eyes. It happened nevertheless. And so on. The european laws forbidding holocaust denial are draconian and immoral but that is their way
you said that none of us actually saw millions of Jews getting killed. you said that most Nazi officers were tortured and that makes their testimony null & void. this is all just Holocaust denial, and belongs in the Conspiracy Theory section.
I believe that millions of Jews did die in Germany, however I have heard that it was partially due to the Allies bombing and therefore disrupting Nazis' food and medicine supplies.
#1, history does NOT say that so you are totally off base. #2, claiming that the millions of Jews died due to Allied bombing and not a systematic regime of genocide, IS Holocaust denial, so take it to the Conspiracy Theory section where it belongs!!!
I told you why not, to put it bluntly if you want to debate fact then it is upon you (proverbial) to provide evidence significant enough to warrant it. Otherwise you will be judge a fool and rightly so. As for throwing deniers in prison I believe their ignorance is punishment enough. Their very attempt at denial labels them unable to comprehend evidence and reality. Those people should be pitied if for no other reason then that by trying to debate something so ludicrous they have condemned themselves to ridicule and mockery from all strata of peoples.

You have heard? When you say partially what do you mean? Do you mean a few hundred out of millions or most of the millions?
Yeah, it was the posts of someone on this other forum that I had read. I don't remember the details. But it is a possibility. This person also said that Hitler at that time actually had an agreement with Jewish leaders to re-settle Jews in what is present day Israel but something went wrong so it never happened.
I heard Elvis is alive. Both that claim and yours are idiotic. Yes it is absolutely feasible some holocaust victims died due to allied bombing but that is a miniscule fraction of the millions. There were no such jewish leaders to make an agreement with

You nothing, as you said you have not come forth with a denial of the fact that Germany did incarcerate the Jews, stripped them of all their belongings, then systematically starved, tortured, experimented upon, and killed them in the millions. If you were to say that those things or even some of those things did not happen then you would be a poor student of history and most likely have some type of preconceived reason to choose to not want to believe the facts that are so apparent to 99% of the educated planet.
I did not dismiss it because I do not like it I dismissed it because it is absolute fiction with no basis in history and is proven by all evidence. THAT makes something idiotic
