    Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump.

You can always tell when the left has a losing hand, that’s when they play the Trump deflection card. It really would be astonishing to see a thread without him being mentioned. And if the left hates him so much, then why are they so obsessed with him? I hate mayonnaise and I don’t think about it every day all day and that’s the difference between hate and obsessive derangement.

C’mon Steve, literally nothing on that laptop can be trusted and you know that. If you can honestly admit that if the roles were reversed and Hunter was releasing data from a Trump laptop you wouldn’t believe anything they released and you know it

Hunter doesnt have to prove data was “manipulated” he can just say its all made up. If he proves one thing to be wrong, then everything else looses all credibility. Its not really that hard to do that. But the right will claim everything true because…well….trumpism has eroded facts a and truths to the point that its not about what is said, ts about who said it.

This laptop story has stunk to high heave since it was made public. This thing doesnt pass the smell test for me. Righties want this to be true, but the honest ones know that nothing on this laptop can be trusted.

Yes, Trump is all he has because Biden is a senile, incompetent, mean spirited and is a puppet controlled by the far left. Jimmy Carter rated a 10 out of 100 because of the Egypt - Israeli peace accords. Biden is a -20 because all he does is screw things up. Biden is the worst president in history. He’s increasing his lead over Pierce and Buchanan.

So what you're saying without also realizing it.... If even one thing on that laptop is proven to be true it would bring the veracity of every one of his denials into question.

    It works both ways

As I've said numerous times, the texts and emails were sent to and by other people. Now if only someone would contact those people.

The laptop is as “fair game” as your wallet you mistakenly left in an article of clothing you dropped off at the dry cleaners.

As I’ve noted before political operatives have made a mess of this. These suits (expect more) aren’t desperation. They’re after the fruit of the discovery process to identify the entire chain of operatives involved.

These morons have actually rendered the laptop legally useless and committed criminal acts in the process.

Hunter’s legal team is out to bring the entire operation to light and utilize it in their defense.

Therein lies the problem with zealots. They’ve lost their moral compass and can’t distinguish when they’ve crossed the line. They end up screwing up anything legitimate they may have been pursuing.

So let's talk about Biden taking showers with his daughter, will that be OK with you?

This could be cleared up if the FBI briefed congress about what they learned about the laptop. Strangely enough, that same FBI offered Steele one million dollars if he could confirm his dossier and the FBI seems to have no interest in verifying the contents of the laptop.

The FBI took possession on the actual laptops before any political operatives got a hold of a copy of its contents.

Computer shop to the FBI. Chain of custody is secure.

A repeat of the 2016 cycle with US intelligence agencies using false, fabricated propaganda in an attempt to influence an election.

    This.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_Biden_laptop_controversy

"In March 2022, The Washington Post published the findings of two forensic information analysts it had retained to examine 217 gigabytes of data provided to the paper on a hard drive by Republican activist Jack Maxey, who represented that its contents came from the laptop. One of the analysts characterized the data as a "disaster" from a forensics standpoint. The analysts found that people other than Hunter Biden had repeatedly accessed and copied data for nearly three years; they also found evidence that people other than Hunter Biden had accessed and written files to the drive, both before and after the New York Post story.[4] In September 2020, someone created six new folders on the drive, including with the names "Biden Burism", "Big Guy File", "Salacious Pics Package" and "Hunter. Burisma Documents". One of the analysts found evidence someone may have accessed the drive contents from a West Coast location days after The New York Post published their stories about the laptop.[4]"

Files clearly had been altered and/or added to the laptop, most likely by RW operatives. In their desperate attempt to smear Biden, they might have inadvertently sunk their case.

Ok, so the hard drive the Post analyzed is different than the hard drive the FBI has in its possession. That's what I'm reading here and all of a sudden the chain of custody thing is no longer an issue.

The FBI needs to clear this up, not a news organization that went full bore with the Russia Russia Russia hoax.

Thank you! It has been explained over and over on this board what the problem is.
The theoretical wallet in your post would be subject to scrutiny, and let's just say it contained a list of illegal acts you've supposedly committed. Since it was out of your control and theoretically under someone else's control before being turned into authorities, the authorities would be hard pressed to find you guilty of said crimes because all you would have to say is "I didn't put that in there, someone else must have after I lost it".
Rudy and co. screwed around with it so much it can't be used as evidence.
I don't know why some here have so much trouble understanding this.

that doesn't mean one owns private data left on the laptop, the data is still private data, Giuliani did not own the data

be it bank passwords or emails, or whatnot, they are still private data

How do you know that the FBI took possession of the laptop before anyone had access to it?
You don't. And I have posted lengthy posts in the past about how shady that whole thing was, including the computer shop owner's story, which changed over the first year after the laptop was dropped off at his shop. I posted two interviews with Hannity the shop owner did, one right after it came to light and another about a year later, and he said very different things between the two.
I'm not going to repost all that research and posting, so don't ask for more proof, do a little research.
Chain of custody is NOT secure.

Exactly, one can not use credit cards and such just cause you left your wallet at their house, and they claim, you left it, mine now

that said, anything found on the laptop would have to be confirmed as valid, not taking on its own due to chain of custody

The charge is computer fraud and data access. If you abandoned your laptop what would be my rights if I had it? Could I share whatever is on your laptop? Can I used your saved passwords to login to systems an obtain information or access? Can I commit fraud and alter data to pretend to be you?

I know the last two items I mentioned are illegal. If he can prove the accusation it could be interesting. If they have the laptop it would be fairly easy to prove unless they had a very knowledgeable computer person cleaning up after themselves.

Someone gave Rudy the laptop who then gave it to someone else. Rudy didn’t steal the laptop or publish the contents.

Think about it. The laptop was in Giuliani's possession in 2019. It is 2023, and they still have nothing but innuendo. The reason: They know that this laptop would be in-admissible as evidence in a court room. But, they have to keep the Biden crime family stories going in RW media, for views and clicks, and in their hope to sway the 2024 election. They know their audience.

P.S.: If you think the Washington Post had a "different" version of the hard drive, how do you know that the NY Post had the correct version? Which version was "correct"? The problem is, we'll never know, because Giuliani and co tampered with it right from the start.

No one denies that the owner of the computer shop had access to the laptop. Shop owner isnt a "political operative". Got anything relevant to your claims?

This is very doubtful, because the job of the shop owner was to fix the computer, not to snoop on the files and make them available to Giuliani. Going to Giuliani immediately implies a political motive.

No it wouldn’t. EVERYONE knows the guy is a crackhead who was using his fathers position for financial gain. The problem for the right is that their is no real proof that Joe actually did anything, let alon that Joe knew any of this was happening.
