You don't seem to be getting it. Both time and math are human constructs used to measure time and space. Neither exists outside the mind of man.

Physics, once again, says you are wrong. I understand this is your religious belief, but you will have a hard time find a single physicist (or even anyone who has passed a physics class) who agrees with you on that one. But feel free to disprove relativity. You'll easily win the Nobel Prize when you do so.

The B-theory of time is more of a philosophical argument rather than a scientific one.

The b-theory of time and eternalism are directly derived from relativity, which is (contrary to your complaints) a scientific observation. Again, if you understand the basic formula for a wave, it all follows easily from there.

Common sense says I'm right. I'll pose the same challenge to you that I posed to another.

Give me an example of one thing that exists in our universe that had/has no cause for its existence.

In the same way that common sense says the earth is flat. Science > your "common sense."

You aren't even willing to admit that relativity is true, so good luck with that.

Please stop with the inflammatory language. I'm holding a discussion with you, not voicing any "complaints".

You've claimed that relativity isn't scientific. If you can show this, you will win the Noble Prize, no question about that.

If all you're going to do is own spelling mistakes then that's worth :roflol::roflol::roflol:.

If it's worth three emojis, then it is worth more than your attempts to evade the actual topic. Are you willing to address the topic? No. When confronted with basic science, you run away and hide and tell people to have a good day. Owning a spelling mistake shows more integrity than that, I'm sorry.

No I tell people to have a good day whenever they start to use inflammatory language in their posts. They've lost the debate at that point and my interest in wasting my time.

Until you are willing to actually discuss the topic that you previously feigned interest in, have a good day.

Nothing exists outside of reality. By definition, if it exists and caused change in our reality then it is part of that reality. When I talk about the universe, reality, god, etc I am not referring to the physical universe that started with the Big Bang. I am referring to the totality of everything.

I am not saying you are wrong. I’m saying that I think you are wrong but I really don’t know.

it just seems like a big cheat to say “the universe has to have a beginning since everything has a beginning except this thing that I’m going to say has no beginning that caused the universe. By the way it also supports my idea that a giant cucumber with googly eyes is sitting in the clouds judging people” It sounds like wishful thinking to me. The universe would exist inside of that reality that you are saying has no rules. If something has an effect on the universe then it’s part of the same reality. In my opinion.

it’s almost as big of a cheat as saying “god gave his life for you” when he is still just as alive as ever.
If there were something that existed outside our universe then it would still be part of our reality and therefore part of the limitless light, the monad, the Brahman, whatever useless word you try to pin on it. No one knows anything about what happened before this universe started to expand. Some speculate there is a multiverse. The limitless light is everything so if there is a multiverse it is still one thing. All of everything is one thing. There is no division. Division is an illusion just like time and mathematics.

No one here truly knows anything so these conversations devolve into meaningless ego driven babble. We are a group of shipwrecked sailors floating in the ocean pretending that the floating piece of flotsam we cling to is better than someone else’s floating piece of jetsam. In the end we are all bound for the abyss.

This brings up another question for @Overitall . If the laws of cause and effect only exist within our universe and not outside it, then how can the universe have a cause from outside the universe? The say that the universe requires a cause is to say that causality requires a cause, which makes no sense.

I’m suggesting only those things relative to our universe requires a cause because that’s all we observe. Anything outside of this universe might exist within an entirely different set of laws not subject to ours, but could have given rise to them.

The first thing God is said to have done before all the creation of the universe is to command light into existence. Light (energy) is the first cause of everything else, but even light had a beginning.

Ok, I think when someone starts to resort to ridicule it's a clear indication we're done with the discussion. Enjoy yourself.
