So instead of the government controlling a woman's body, you propose that a man does it? Do you think that the majority of women's decisions are disputed by the man involved? If not, what is the purpose of their approval?

Also, if a group believes that a fetus is a human being with rights at conception, how will a father's approval of aborting it bring them on board with your idea? Same thing goes with incest and rape - it is supposedly still a human being with rights, regardless of how they were conceived.

The purpose behind SCOTUS being faithless on abortion, criminalizing doctors, banning the sale of birth control, Plan B and condoms is to create a tsunami of white babies.

They've been fearmongering their target audience about replacement rates and are concerned about becoming minorities.

McCarthy and many other Rs have already stated they are coming after SS and Medicare. The purpose behind that is to cause a faster death rate in seniors in preparation for the Public Aid that will be needed when all these young mothers can't provide for their children. Remember when Trump was mismanaging COVID and said it would go away without a vaccine? People in pro-Trump counties are dying at a faster rate than pro-Biden counties and that side has always shrugged off the deaths saying it's only deadly for old or sick people. If Rs get in and cancel SS and Medicare we should expect that same apathy.

It will force many into generational poverty. Ultimately, this will only harm people that can't afford to pay a doctor out-of-pocket or go to a state/other country to obtain one. Blue states subsidize red states so that will naturally increase as more people in rural areas are less likely to have the resources to manage the anticipated influx of babies.

A woman can only have one pregnancy every 9 months.
A man can impregnate a woman all day, every day in that 9 months and produce X babies. (ex. Token patsy Walker doesn't even know how many kids he has or how many abortions he's paid for).

I don't see any ethical basis why the father should have any say in the abortion decision above and beyond anyone else's. If abortion is murder, then it's murder. If it isn't then it isn't and it's her body to do with as she sees fit.

How about instead the man gets to request she abort (and maybe offer to pay for it; though I would rather it be state funded), and be absolved or financial responsibility to support the child if she declines?

 

The choice of child is important too. By the way, there were women on the court. They sent it back to the states to decide. Good decision.
