I'm convinced that only pot smokers support legalizing marijuana

If you had grown up in the 1970s, you would realize how smoke-free our society has become. Besides smelling it on smokers' clothes, I can't recall the last time I smelled a cigarette in somebody's hand (probably a few months ago). Most smokers these days are pretty good about only smoking in designated places.

 

Well, it's legal in my state now (CO). What pisses me off is before it was legal my neighbors did all their smoking indoors and I rarely smelled it. Now that it's legal they sit out in the garage and on their driveway and spew that skunk smell.

 

I haven't noticed that. You must hang out in some pretty bad places.

You haven't smelled skunk....... They are common roadkill around here, and I'd rather smell straight cigarette or pot smoke in my face than skunk. Have you asked them to not smoke it when the wind is blowing your way.

 

It just dawned on me...maybe this poster was smelling a dead skunk. Seriously, good weed smells just as pungent as a dead skunk.

And there in lies the problem, Neither side is completely right on the issues, your attitude is exactly why this country is so disfunctional in it's politics. I know that the Dems are wrong on some issues and so are the Repubs, just as both are correct on others, it is the difference between someone stuck out on one extreme and those that have ideals that cross political idiology lines.

 

Not much of a Conservative are ya, I will note that for the next time you claim you want fewer regulations and less government. If you are next door or in your car I will not be able to smell them, if I can you might want to see a doctor about that.

I support legalizing all drugs, but that doesn't mean I want to do meth or heroin. I don't even do pot.

If government tried to ban tobacco, I'd fight that, and I have no interest in smoking cigarrettes either.

By the same token, I support gay marriage, but I'm heterosexual.

Your argument is like saying that the only people who support free speech want to say offensive things all the time.

If you cant smell the person smoking in the car in front of you then you either have a brain tumor or Olfactory Neuroblastoma. Your the only person Ive ever heard of that ever said they cant. The stench of cigarettes goes on for miles. You don't have to be tailgating to notice it. Yes I am smelling the exhaust of only the cars where the person is smoking in them. What a dumb post. And go see a doctor you may have cancer if you cant smell that stench.

 

I did grow up in the 70s. Its only appears to be a smoke free society because we force people to go somewhere and inhale their life failure where it wont bother the rest of us. And no they aren't better about it. 100% of the smokers I see every day throw their lit cigarettes out the window with no thought whatsoever to those around them. You could always simply walk down any road in the US and see them littered everywhere you look. Nasty people.

 

So you cant smell smokers nor see them. You must hang out in some very dark smelly places. Yeah no one reading this would ever believe smokers would walk into a restaurant exhaling the last drag of their cigarette. No one has ever seen that before.

 

I don't use pot. Resolution negated. Its hard to disagree with something that's, costs millions to enforce, makes billions in tax revenue, less harmful than tobbaco, weakens gang influence, and lifts 1000's of educated people out of jail.

 

Conservatism is about government where it is necessary. You lefties only understand more government. You can increase regulations in certain areas while still reducing the size of government. For example, you guys like to spend money on the mating habits of robotic squirrels whereas I would like to spend that money on people that are truly in need. You like to give Obamaphones to anyone who wants one, I want to give them only to people who truly need them. My regulations include wanting clean air and water, your regulation includes banning water if it comes in a plastic bottle. Feel free to quote me all you want and I will give you another lesson in the differences between your regulations and mine. I have an endless supply of leftist stupidity.
Also, I didn't ask where you were I asked how you feel about smelling my farts? How would you feel if I did it near you and you were forced to smell it? Would you object or just let me keep doing it? Lets see where your tolerance is to "bad smells".
