Infuriated by the Atheists.

I don't come here as often as I should. I usually read the section on my phone. Last time I had a problem I discussed it with a mod. Nothing happened. The Atheists are allowed to attack Christians in this section without warnings or bans. I'm infuriated at some of the things that are being said here about us. I cannot defend my position all the time because I hate posting from my phone, I can just read the posts. The Christian attacks continue here and nothing is doing anything about it. We need more mods please. Mods that aren't atheists!

 

It is their free right for atheists to say what they want about Christians. And unfortunately, there are just enough christians that do not act like it and instead act like they are better than everyone else who isnt christian. This causes alot of stress for people who dont believe, and I feel very ashamed as a christian when I see another christian treating people like they are better.

 

Historically, Christians have done more for this world. Presidents, Scientists, inventors, actors, activists; All have believed in a GOD. People who believe in GOD contribute ideas and change to this world. Atheists contribute NOTHING! They are a WASTE!

 

^ And yet what you say right there makes you a terrible Christian. Why would you want to tell them that, and create anger and hostility. We are supposed to be loving towards them, always willing to help, and always ready if they want to know more about christianity. But who wants to be christians when so many are closed-minded and high on their chariots?

 

Most atheists don't judge all Christians by the ignorant ranting of people like the OP. Just as most Christians don't feel the way he does about atheists.

Mostly I feel pity for them. What kind of lives do they have if they need to mindlessly hate entire groups of people.

 

Loving someone and being willing to help that person does not mean acceptance or approval of their behavior. Far too often, misguided people think that being a Christian means you have to be nice to everyone. No, it does not mean that at all. What it means is, while hating the sin, you should still love the sinner.

Just as there are many layers and types among religious people, there are many layers and types among atheists. I have been a member of atheists sites in which the discussion of religion has been on a far higher plane than it is at Political Forum. The discussion has been both polite and adult. Far too often, that is not the case at Political Forum where instead of polite, adult discussion, we get references to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, insults and slanders.

If athiests want to be seen as adults, perhaps they should police their own ranks and tell the childish, hateful posters that enough is enough and too much is too much.

 

Maybe the problem is that you have a narrow definition of Christian??

There are Christians who are NOT fundamentalists, Evangelicals or Christian Zionists.

The Western World is hijacked by atheists and socialist who want to kill Christianity and to replace it by Islam as the State Religion. They need the Religion of Peace to force their crazy socialism to the folks. We need all be united to struggle with our enemies.

The are NO virgins in the Koran. There are transparent companions which is a way to describe angels.

There are over 30 allegories that describe Paradise in the Koran.

They describe rivers of milk and honey, verdant landscapes, low hanging fruit etc... they message is the beauty and bounty of being in the presence of God..

Quite like the allegories in the Bible that describe Heaven... i.e. My Father's house has many mansions.
