Jan. 6 rioters trashed a GOP senator's office, and he hasn't acknowledged it

A mob of rioters who attacked the Capitol on Jan. 6 smashed out windows and stormed into an office assigned to Republican Sen. Jim Risch of Idaho. The group flipped over a giant conference table and barricaded themselves inside, trashing his office.

A review of Risch’s public statements on the Capitol riot show no indication that he has ever mentioned what happened to his office that day. “I don’t do interviews on Jan. 6, but thanks,” Risch told NBC News.
