Actually, if you described what is happening implying that it's a group fighting for sovereignty from China there would be near universal US support for the group fighting the over rulers.

Hamas also needs to understand that holding non combatant hostages and chanting "Death to ..." does not help their cause. A much more effective chant would be "Free Palestine" or "End Israeli Apartheid". Those would get them much more international support.

 

They had freedom in Gaza but they squandered it by building tunnels and rockets. Squandered their education away by teaching hatred of Jews instead of teaching their youth to be productive. No other nation wants them.....and we understand why.

 

Right, except for no fixed borders, no rights except those allowed by Israel, no actual nationality. And with the attacks by the current Israeli regime on the courts loss of land becoming far too frequent.

 

So, lie about it, you mean. Gaza isn't occupied. There is no apartheid there. There also isn't democracy there. Since Hamas have chosen not to allow the citizens of Gaza to have any voice since their authoritarian take over of it. The playbook that you're reading from doesn't work here. not matter how hard to try to force the fit. And every time you continue to post these lies, you fail to point out that Hamas are the problem that keeps the citizens of Gaza from being successful. And that seems to be your point. Constant subjugation of the Palestinian people by their authoritarian terrorist government. Their example effectively undermines your contention that these folks want to be free. Because they aren't today. Those won't be tomorrow. And the only prescription that you are making is killing jews. You know this, I know this, and frankly now, everyone else does too.

Josh, I don't think its a massacre with the Palestinians. Gaza is a densely populated region area that has been conceived much like a prison since 1998. Hamas has used that to put their fighters, command and control, and other assets while using schools, hospitals, resident apartment buildings, and so forth as "human shields." Israel sent missiles and bombs to destroy those facilities which is why you have an unconfirmed, independent of Hamas or others, death toll of 10k or more. This is war, not some damn video game.

However, I do think Israel's military has made some tactical mistakes when executing their plan and is very fearful of a high body count in urban warfare combat. But this is what they need to do to root out Hamas in Gaza city.

 

Israel does their best to avoid civilian casualties, and when Palestinians are injured, Israeli doctors and hospitals treat them. It's simply who they are.

Funny....when the U.S. was under British occupation, they organized a government, framed a Constitution and di that all without raping British women, burning British babies, and killing indiscriminately. Guess it is just the different values of different cultures.

 

The WHO is estimating 160 children being killed each day, and that is only 40% of the total daily civilian deaths. Those numbers are completely unacceptable. I also heard that the majority of the bombs being used are dumb bombs. Basically MK-84 low-drag 2,000 pound bombs...no guidance system. They are just relying on CCIP/CCRP targeting systems that have no guidance at all once they are released. In such a densely packed area, that is just unacceptable.

 

What is unacceptable is that citizens were not allowed to evacuate after they had ample warning.

There are Israelis that describe it as apartheid. Right off the bat you miss the point. If you live in a nation with another nation over you with dictatorial powers whether implemented or not and the other nation defines itself by a race, religion or ethnicity different than yours then you live under apartheid.

Negotiate and Define Palestinian borders and make Jerusalem a separate city state.
If Hamas attacks Israel again they are terrorists by definition, as it is now they can claim they are freedom fighters with bad attitudes.

Their estimates and the WHO is relying totally on reports by hospitals, Hamas, and others, some of them wanting to pad those numbers. Second, not sure how much Mk 84s are being used, but that is not the only ammunition. Remember, there is evidence that some of the casualties are "self-inflicted" such as in a misfiring by a Hamas rocket that eventually severely damaged a Palestinian hospital killing some 400 people and wounding another 2000.

 

As it is now, they are terrorists headed for extinction!

 

Have you ever seen a rabbi wearing a bomb vest to a café? It is obvious who the bad guys are.

 

How is that any different from dropping a bomb on one?

 

Bombs generally target military command centers. Especially where Israel is concerned. Bomb vests are used to kill as many civilians as possible.

 

In a sane world that would be true, but Israel has been killing civilians with their bombs much faster than killing Hamas, and a hell of a lot faster than a simple suicide bomber could ever hope to. Israel has managed to exceed terrorists in the amount of terror they are inflicting.

 

The difference is who is targeted. The terrorists target innocent people while the bombs target terrorists. These terrorists launch their attacks from areas with women and children so they can show Pallywood images to use to sell more Jew hate. It is easy to see who the bad guys are.
