Anyway, done my devil's advocate. I suspect the slumped man fell asleep. The knife man lost it after his car was damaged and was probably angry and scared at the moment of impact. He had no previous record and will spend a few months in prison

Lots of cops would fear for their life and start blasting when that happens. Those people fear for their lives all the time. Part of the job.

Apparently there was blood on both of them, hard to tell whose blood it was WITHOUT all of the FACTS.

Until we HEAR all sides of the story Scruggs is presumed innocent.

    ASSUMPTIONS are not FACTS.

You are basing your assumptions on ONE SIDE of the story ONLY.

Best to wait until we have ALL the facts.

Remember that the slumped driver CAUSED both accidents.

Scruggs is a civilian, that argument failed before you hit the post button. He's luck he didn't attack an armed citizen.

Scruggs didn't have the authority to kill someone, even if it was a scam. It's great to watch you people defend this clown...lol

Ah. A trained police officer being scared all the time can use it's weapon against who ever.
But a citizen, according to you, gets higher standards? Oh please. lol

    https://thefederalist.com/2023/09/27/j6-prosecutor-charged-in-road-rage-stabbing-incident/

"The commotion apparently began when a couple pulled over to check on a man slumped over the steering wheel on the side of the road. When the couple returned to their vehicle to grab something that could break the car window, the slumped-over man turned on the car and rammed the vehicle of the couple trying to help. When the man put the car in reverse, the vehicle hit Scruggs’ vehicle. That’s when Scruggs reportedly got out of the car and began to stab the driver."

yeah, sounds weird, why did the alleged victim ram his car, the right would call this standing your ground, but sounds like road rage to me... have to see what else comes out about this, sounds like we may be missing some of the story

ah, so a car is only a deadly weapon when it's used against a cop?

he should have called the cops, let the cops handle it

they don't want you to think for yourself, they just want you to say guilty, can't ask questions

I also want to know why the 1st driver crashed into the two cars, so many questions, sounds like both behaved badly here, but we need more info

The car was stopped. Scruggs' life wasn't in danger. Scruggs didn't have the authority to use deadly force. It was an accident...lol

Don't try to say you aren't defending the idiot.

Him prosecuting Trump supporters goes a long way with you people. Don't it?

Oh, people who support children just blasting around at other children who took some chips can come up with excuses.
I'm sure they can be found for Scruggs.

You indeed liked a post that supported the idea that a child is able to blast away at his friends when they took a bag of chips... with the excuse of self defense.

So how come you can't find an excuse for this bugger?
Did you politicize your opinion? lol

Unfortunately, for your argument, Scruggs is the one charged with armed burglary.

So what. Where is your excuse for self defense?
When a child has it over a bag of chips, than how can this dude not have it?
