Hi Gilos, I'm not particularly religious, I describe myself as a sort of agnostic, in between -an uncomiited. From observation , I'd say devout muslims qoulsnt object to anyone praying in their mosques , just as devout Christians would chase a Jew or muslims out of a church, providing - PROVIDING , the guest behave respectfully and do not disturb /cause disruption to others in the congregation.

I'm sure you can see the logic unlike some stupid Texan , right ?

Then as I said, the Jesus of Islam is not the Jesus of Scripture.

LOLOL.. You can't speak for Muslims..

When Muslims were just a small group, early in Muhammed's ministry .. they had to flee to Ethiopia for protection provided by the Christian King of Ethiopia.

Their exchanges on Jesus are available.

You spoke for Muslims. You indicated the Jesus of Islam is not the Jesus of Scripture. Which is what I have been saying. No problem.

Because I have studied Islam.. you haven't..

You don't know anything at all about Islam except your imaginings.

I am pretty confident about my christian faith so I have nothing to fear from education.

Consider that you were afraid of the story of Azazel.. and have never evidently read Leviticus.

DUMB *uCK There are many Christians who dont really believe he was the son of god.

If you read anything abt Islam you'd know Jesus + Moses are revered ny muslims as prophets.

same guy - different titles .

Obviously, I am familiar with the events surrounding the destruction of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre by the Muslims you claim were "protecting" this Christian holy of holies. I'm also aware that the church was rebuilt at the expense of the Byzantine emperor Constantine Monomachus.

So. What I said was that you proved that the Jesus of Islam is not the Jesus of Scripture.

I do know something of Islam and have referenced what I have said.

I told you I am aware of the goats in Leviticus.

So, why don't you answer the questions I asked? Does Islam believe Jesus is the Son of God? Do they believe He is God in the flesh?

    Ummm?

No .. You said you "didn't want to know about Azazel.. that you would stick to your Bible".

Yes Jesus is the same.. they view him differently than we do because they don't believe God had children or that blood expiates sin.

Its consistent and logical if you think about it.

Yes, I stick to the Bible. And Im aware of the goats in Leviticus.

Your a walking contridiction. Jesus in Scripture is the Son of god. Jesus in Islam is not. You tell so many lies that you no longer can tell the difference between consistant and lying.

Oh, you don't want to answer the questions, do you? And of course, when you can't answer the questions you accuse the other of being a troll and then you smell up the place.

Your position has been found lacking.

    Quatrill's correct - they're not the same.

There's more to it than that. For example, Muslims don't believe Jesus was crucified and died on the cross and was resurrected three days later. In the Qur'an, Muhammad denies that this central feature of the Christian faith ever took place:

Why do you think he did that? ;)

That's accurate.. They believe that Jesus was the purest of all the prophets and cannot conceive of such a brutal and humiliating death.

They think Judas was crucified in his stead .. That appeals to their sense of justice.

Further, they don't believe in blood sacrifice.. based on the story of Abraham and either Ishmael or Isaac. They think that the message is that God forbid it ever again.

Its perfectly logical from their standpoint.

They believe every man is responsible to God for his OWN sins.

I just try to understand and respect our differences.

yOU MAY BE RIGHT . However , I ( a lapse/nominal "Christian" was once invited by a muslim friend , to see what goes on at their mosques, All I did was respectfully , sit at the back and watched their Friday service. I found it enlightening without experiancing any problems from anyone.

As ever, its always a matter of respect,- respecting + not causing a disturbance to others, dont you think so ?

I am a Christian.. and have no reason to "degrade" it as you claim.. But, I am neither a fundamentalist, Evangelical, Scofield heretic or Christian Zionist.

Being what you call logical is not the point. The point is you are wrong again. Wrong in your claim that Jesus of Islam is the same as Jesus in the Bible. Your wrong but not man or woman enough to admit it. Your would rather lie about it.
