You are naive. Granny won't die on the steps of the clinic as long as she produces her state issued I'd card or drivers license.

As long as we change the laws that keeps illegals from being allowed to get a state I'd card or drivers license then we will know who the citizens are and are not.

The problem is with states that allow illegals to get drivers license when many of the don't even speak that great of English or barely pass the driving exam.

I'm puzzled why you think it's ok for US citizens to have to use their tax money for illegal aliens.

I see the point some of you are trying to make. Not all immigrants that come here are illegals. Not all migrant workers are illegal. The problem is the people who break the law and either come illegally or over stay their visa or green card.

Illegal immigration is a serious problem that is costing this nations taxpayers billions annually.

a) virtually 100% true

b) about 52% of migrant workers are NOT citizens (of course, NOT BEING a citizen does NOT EQUAL being an illegal)

c) surely the overwhelming majority of farm workers are illegals​

 

They both should demand it and neither should be punished for being fooled with fake ones.

 

Glad you changed your tune on the employers which, if they were doing their job during the hiring process, would pretty much universally mean no illegals at the free clinics (or pretty much no illegals in the country, for that matter).

Hilarious! I have lived in one of California's most important agricultural areas for decades, have worked in and around the wine business and actually have done real agricultural work. How about you? Your post reeks of ignorance.

Living in a very desirable agricultural area myself my personal experience reflects a virtual 100% certainty that the people that fill the valley once a year during harvest time are illegal immigrants. There are tens of millions of them in this country, you know and I've never seen a white kid out picking grapes or harvesting vegetables (not in the last thirty years, anyway).

My link says it's about 52%. Take your pick. Either way your claim that $8.25 million going for migrant worker free health care is not intended for illegal aliens is absurd and a weak attempt to deflect from your original transparent claim.

We all know that illegal immigration is a matter of mass hysteria and mass hallucination. There have been reports and estimates of 13 million (or more) illegal immigrants in this country but if someone says he's seen them or the multi billion dollar wine industry in his own valley is virtually built on the labor of illegal immigrants then you can be sure this "anecdotal evidence" does absolutely nothing to knock down your claim that migrant workers are, by and large, not illegal immigrants .

odrama CLAIMED that a man had cancer and his insurance company cancelled his policy due to pre-existing conditions and he died. THAT WAS A COMPLETE LIE, AND ODRAMA KNEW IT TO BE A LIE WHEN HE TOLD THE LIE.

The truth IS:

It was a new policy and the man DID NOT disclose a pre-existing condition on his application. THEN he developed cancer. The company 'rescinded' the policy, not cancelled. Rescinded means they returned every cent of premium he paid. He argued that his pre-existing condition was NOT cancer related. The insurance company reconsidered and DID pay for the treatment the man was getting all along. The man's treatment was completed and he lived on for 4 more years. And his death had nothing to do with his cancer treatment. odrama knew every bit of the true story when he told his lies over and over again.

And your Medicare and our Medicare are vastly different programs that happen to have the same name. While touting obamacare and demonizing Republicans for attempting to repair our Medicare. The DEMOCRATS passed obamacare which STRIPS $500 billion dollars out of Medicare. The true rapers of Medicare point the nasty finger at those who would make it stronger.
