Name all of the hospitals that will provide brain surgery to remove tumors like the one that McCain had "for free" to the impoverished.

Learn what makes a "hero". Kerry was not a hero. Learn the facts of Kerry in Vietnam and his betrayal of his fellow sailors and soldiers after he left the Navy.

Kerry was the antithesis to McCain. They did no meet until long after the war. They were not "life long friends". That's just a lie, its typical "progressive" tactics of leeching off of another person who cannot speak for himself.

If you want to defend Obamacare, per se, I suggest we do that in a different thread. I've already had WAY too many of MY posts deleted by a Moderator for being "off-topic" -- mostly in argument with you! I wonder how many of your posts have been deleted for the same reason....

Back on John McCain (thread topic). He was, to say the least, the nation's most notorious Republican-In-Name-Only (RINO), period. We can only hope that the Governor of Arizona appoints a person to take his place who isn't just another damned RINO.

In any senator, Te, Left or Right, the party that elects him/her should be able to expect dependability, logical consistency, continuity, and trustworthiness. Maybe the next Arizona Senator will be able to provide those qualities of character and attributes... which John McCain did not....

while that is not entirely at issue here, feel free to present evidence of your claim (by the way, in his political career, he voted to give more aid to veterans)

That an egocentric RINO like John McCain could actually go out of his way to save a wretched fraud and obvious pack of lies like Obamacare is speaks LOUDLY and eloquently for itself.

But, start a NEW thread on how wonderful you think Obamacare is and I'll put your argument in a chipper/shredder... not for the first time....

    Wrong again on ALL counts!

McCain was standing up for the GOP Healthcare Plan as FORMULATED by the rightwing Heritage organization and implemented by Conservative Governor Romney! The mandate was KEY to the Heritage plan that made it functional and that was explained to McCain by his fellow GOP Senator Collins which is why he cast his vote as he did. Since you are obviously completely unaware of any of the FACTUAL HISTORY on that topic there is no reason to take that any further.

Interesting to note that you could NOT refute the fact that McCain took his senatorial duties SERIOUSLY by NOT mindlessly voting in lockstep with the nefarious GOP agenda.

"Rule 8 Violation!", Te. Now I know how this game is played, and I won't waste any more of my time. Start a NEW THREAD about Obamacare and I'll be happy to point out what a deceitful, fraudulent miserable pile of sh*t the whole thing is. But, you won't gull me into doing it in THIS thread....

Goodbye, John McCain. The Democrat Party will miss you greatly.

Ironically this is, in and of itself, off topic. But some people are judged to be not strictly discussing the thread topic
while others seem to go wherever they like.

McCain was one of the best republicans the democrat party every had. The democrats would love to see more like him but duplicity and treachery like McCain's is hard to come by.

McCain’s Political Legacy Is Trump’s Presidency

A year before Trump ever came down his golden escalator, polls showed that not only did voters disapprove of sending troops to Iraq, even 70 percent of active military didn’t want to send more troops to the nation they liberated a decade earlier. While McCain was advocating increases to immigration, a plurality and at times a majority of voters were demanding that Washington curb legal immigration and get tough on illegal border crossings. On free trade and globalization, even McCain’s most loyal ally, Lindsey Graham, was able to see that the center had moved and many Americans wanted more protectionist policies.

McCain and his allies in Washington proved unable to see that tens of millions of Americans were fed up with politics as usual. This created a vacuum that Trump filled, as Bernie Sanders filled a similar opening on the left.

As images surfaced this weekend showing Hillary Clinton consoling Dick Cheney, the media reminisced about the political ruling class they once knew. Meanwhile, millions of voters were reminded of the out-of-touch elitism they rejected.
