Now the LEFTIST TOTALITARIANS are making up data for 2915? That figures.

They will deny it and say they had to "adjust the data"... which conveniently fits their models.

You have been given evidence and facts. Acute denial epitomizes RW thought.

So, I was on point then. If you don't take it seriously yourself, that just means you're a (*)(*)(*)(*) starter and never had an argument of your own, because you do not take it seriously. Like I said, you wasted everyone's time for nothing. Move along!

all you're doing is showing that you don't understand how science works

when new data comes in, it's used to adjust models and when calibration mistakes are found, they're corrected

"In The Telegraph, Christopher Booker accused climate scientists of falsifying the global surface temperature data, claiming trends have been "falsified" through a "wholesale corruption of proper science." Booker's argument focuses on adjustments made to raw data from temperature stations in Paraguay. In the video below, Kevin Cowtan examines the data and explains why the adjustments in question are clearly justified and necessary, revealing the baselessness of Booker's conspiracy theory."

You just told me you don't take it serious. So how can anything you say concerning this subject be anything but ignorant nonsense?

We've been given maniupulated and mistaken evidence, and told their predictions are facts. Willful acceptance of "maybes" passing as "fact" epitomize the LW brain.

While I can't wait for Hillary to become President, corporations are ahead of the politicians. With Tesla out of stock, IKEA putting charging stations in their stores, and BMW going fossil-fuel free in 10 years, the future is looking much greener and cleaner. Even Big Oil is investing more and more in alternative energy.

2915 is obviously a typo, and Grizz didn't adjust any data. It shouldn't take much to figure this out.

    You sure about that?

An explanation which "can incorporate" some facts....does not make it a fact.

Phlogiston theory incorporated some facts, along with unproven assertions....and turned out to be a farce. As did the Earth being the center of the Universe..so on and so forth. This one will too.

40 Years ago it was global cooling.....

    - - - Updated - - -

Hockey Stick comes to mind right off the bat...as do the Climate gate emails.

Surely you arent pretending you didnt hear about those......

yes, me, the national academy of sciences and scientists

you've been lied to and easily fooled

    "Confusing the Public

News coverage of the e-mails and the various claims about what they supposedly show may have contributed to public confusion on the subject. A Dec. 3 Rasmussen survey found that only 25 percent of adults surveyed said that “most scientists agree on global warming” while 52 percent said that “there is significant disagreement within the scientific community” and 23 percent said they were not sure. The truth is that over the 13 years covered by the CRU e-mails, scientific consensus has only become stronger as the evidence for global warming from various sources has mounted. Reports from the National Academies and the U.S. Global Change Research Program that analyze large amounts of data from various sources also agree, as does the IPCC, that climate change is not in doubt. In advance of the 2009 U.N. climate change summit, the national academies of 13 nations issued a joint statement of their recommendations for combating climate change, in which they discussed the “human forcing” of global warming and said that the need for action was “indisputable.”

Leading scientists are unequivocally reaffirming the consensus on global warming in the wake of “Climategate.” White House science adviser John Holdren said at a congressional hearing on climate change: “However this particular controversy comes out, the result will not call into question the bulk of our understanding of how the climate works or how humans are affecting it.” The American Association for the Advancement of Science released a statement “reaffirm[ing] the position of its Board of Directors and the leaders of 18 respected organizations, who concluded based on multiple lines of scientific evidence that global climate change caused by human activities is now underway, and it is a growing threat to society.” The American Meteorological Society and the Union of Concerned Scientists have also reiterated their positions on climate change, which they say are unaffected by the leaked e-mails."

Are they all "more sure" than they were with Global Cooling the last time they tried to arrange the tea leaves?

Science can point out what is happening, and indicate why. In the case of our recent warming, which is the result of human activity, government can "fix" the problem by advancing political solutions which will limit the discharge of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. The problem we have here is that a lot of our elected (political) members in national government are beholden to the very people who are causing these discharges (fossil fuel producers/major users) and often unable to act in our best interest.

What kills me, is they deny the facts, yet, never inject any counter facts of their own to support their own position.

It's mainly the bought-and-paid-for Koch heads in Congress that refuse to address the blatant reality.

TPs are the only sector of the population who are in denial to accommodate their ideological dogma.

Which means you also have no argument as well. Why do you waste your time with this thread then? Let me guess; you're like your buddy above I was describing?

all you're doing is confirming that you don't know what you're talking about

the vast majority of climate papers in the 1960s and 70s predicted warming

"Today, with 30+years more data to analyse, we've reached a clear scientific consensus: 97% of working climate scientists agree with the view that human beings are causing global warming."

It's common sense! You claim that you and these so called scientists have it all figured out. This planet has been here beyond any kind of true measure. But yet some how within this nano second of our existance everything from a planet perspective has been figured out. That is simply delusional thinking. Come back to reality!

The completely debunked 97% claim shows it is you who doesnt know what he's talking about.

What about them? The two biggest polluters are totally on board; so is Europe; so are a bunch of other countries. So who are you talking about?

If you're going to preach common sense, at least bring some with you when you come along on this journey, where the debate has been totally one sided.

No one has everything figured out. But common sense tells us, science has it figured out more than anything else. How do I know that? The real question should be, how come everyone doesn't already know that? We use science for almost everything. It's incredibly stupid for us not to be using science.

You say come back to reality. I say common sense + science = reality. And if you can't or won't challenge that reality, it's best you move to the back of the bus. Because that kind of reality= willful ignorance. And most serious people do not have the time or patience for such mindless games.

Elect people who accept reality? That would be a good start. Unfortunately, there aren't any in the Republican Party.
