That doesn't make a difference. You're the one that posted a silly picture, which I was refuting. Why would active military families need food stamps? I don't ind helping those in need. It's the able bodied leeches that should be cut. Same goes for welfare.

what's silly is thinking you refuted something

because they can't afford to feed their families

Military families turn to food stamps

"A growing number of working people use food stamps to help make ends meet. Often they work in retail, food and service industry jobs, where pay is traditionally low. But there’s another group of working people turning to food stamps that might surprise you: active-duty military personnel and their families."

So you think the majority is wrong, and I think they are right. Like I said, you go prepare for the worst. If you're right and I'm wrong, you can have the last laugh. Until then, this is not a concern to many people. I'm more worried about being shot for driving through the wrong neighborhood and being white than I am about global warming.

I'll worry about the things that concern me, and you can worry about the things that concern you, and maybe one day we'll both be able to save each others lives. Deal?

You don't live in reality do you, China and Russia are never going to agree with anything we do, and you denying they don't matter speaks volumes of you

That's good that you did your part, and I would urge you to continue to do so since there are many of us who don't feel inclined to.

Nevermind. You're way too involved to see the humor.

Well, since we spend more than double any other nation on earth, there is no reason we can't trim out the complete waste and wars of choice.

evidence says they do know, you just don't look at it

"Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century. The rate in the last decade, however, is nearly double that of the last century."

And yet we have some posters here that think it's a good idea to cut more funding to the military for budget purposes. My grandpa was a bomber pilot in WWII and his family never went hungry. The average military family shouldn't have to depend on food stamps. That's despicable.

"Evidence" is the sibling of "may" and "could", they all live in a family not called Fact.

Some of them, yes. Just trying to have some fun. Lighten up, my friend. We both have different goals. I was serious when I said you take care of yours and I'll take care of mine, neither of us will get in the other's way and one day perhaps we can thank each other.

And apparently some of our military families are having to depend on food stamps. We should pay them more, and stop giving benefits to able bodied people that refuse to find jobs. That would give them more of a reason to get out and find something. I trust out military families a whole hell of a lot more than the families that can work and don't. They don't deserve handouts.

there are almost a many dumb republicans in mississippi, as in louisiana

like in louisiana, it's really funny how so many of them barely finished high school

and have little regard for science or higher education, but they worship lsu and ole miss

Meaningless observations, over reaching arrogance and fear mongering. Thats AGW theory. (Another word that would love to change it's name to fact...but can't, as it's a "guess")

you don't even seem to understand what a scientific theory is

"A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not guesses but reliable accounts of the real world. The theory of biological evolution is more than "just a theory." It is as factual an explanation of the universe as the atomic theory of matter or the germ theory of disease. Our understanding of gravity is still a work in progress. But the phenomenon of gravity, like evolution, is an accepted fact."

"Theory: In science, a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses."

Mankind has not inhabited the earth for 4.8B yrs, so using that as an analogy for science is beyond reason.
