Why does the left want to make up stuff about the right rather than defend their own positions on their own merits. I have mentioned several times now that legal slavery existed in the United States before the Civil War, all during it and even after it ended. Why does the leftwing want to hide this fact?

Except we were the only ones in the world that set out to end slavery work wide. If it were so basic why no help? Why did we have to sink slave ships? Why did we have to put economic pressures on countries to outlaw it? If it were so basic why wasn’t it other races doing the same thing? Yes! You should thank us with a bit of historical respect for this issue rather than ignoring it or passing it off as simply as you just tried to do.

 

The South didn't want a war at all. The Confederacy simply wanted to exist as it's own country and not tied to those Union states that remained. The purpose of the war is on Lincoln and his purpose for invading the Confederacy with an army hellbent on it's total destruction was to force those slaves states back into the United States with their slavery intact just as with the Union slave states.

 

He does seem oddly fascinated with trannies. <shrug>

Why are you posting this fallacious statement? Slavery was legal and in practice before, during and after the Civil War in the United States. It was ESPECIALLY legal that June and people, including slaves, in Texas had LONG been aware of the Emancipation Proclamation which only freed slaves in occupied Confederate states.

 

Celebrations, or just the one you seem bent on bringing up? There's a difference bro, but I don't expect you to know or care. Anyway, that cross discount is good until the end of the day.

 

The rightwing has no high ground to talk about morals. Conservatives are the ones that fought to keep slavery in the first place.

 

Many people miss the point that it was white people who enslaved them and also kept them in slavery after the Emancipation Proclamation.
