Just buffoonery, or something worse?

Do you think it's more important Trump wins the nomination than it is Republicans win the Presidency?

Actually, Democrats prefer Biden not be their nominee.

Maybe you'd have a chance to pick some of them off if you ran someone other than Trump.

I doubt @Trixare4kids would think that. Many of us would prefer Trump just retire and play golf.

Trump's behavior is relevant to a lot of voters. From what I can see, Democrats have concluded Trump is dangerous. If Republicans are unwilling to put forward an argument why he isn't, I don't see how they're going to get Democrats, and perhaps many independents, to give Trump a second look.

Some even on the Republican side might have him take a world playing tour through November 2024.

I've heard he has an awesome (golf) handicap. So, why not.

Are insider Democrats hoping Trump will be the GOP nominee? I think so.

So why did they let Epps go? And no one pressured anyone to do anything. The plan was discarded.

What does Epps have to do with the fake elector scheme? And, yes, Pence was pressured. PENCE "discarded" the plan by refusing to cave to said pressure. Understand?

Who's going to indict him on it? Bragg?

The irony between his two views:

    1. Bragg is correct that a House Committee subpoena is illegal because it is not attached to active legislation.

    2. The January 6 Committee had the authority to subpoena Steve Bannon despite it not being attached to active legislation.

TDS to the max. This one seems terminal. No cure.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

This would be so much clearer if we (the press especially) would focus our attention properly. Trump’s the shiny object.

Nope what? Trump has so many people against him, he'll have a hard time getting elected.

2024 reminds me a lot of the 1972 election. Nixon was a polarizing figure. Democrats ran an anti-war leftist, George McGovern, and lost badly. Then Democrats were more concerned with the stated politics of their nominee than they were with winning the election.

I've heard it suggested, that perhaps, Bragg should be locked up for abuse of power. There's a thought. Maybe if dumbasses, like him, were held accountable for conducting witch hunts, spending tons of taxpayer's money, we'd get past the obsession with DJT.

Can I assume you don't care that much if Trump gets the nomination?

I use to be -- a long time ago. I play on a league when I was working about fifteen years ago. Sorry, the name doesn't ring a bell for me.

I’m not confident that the left will get over him. OCD is hard and to manage.
